It shouldn't start flame wars. It should put out the flame. Both systems are capable of 1080p games. Both systems will have them. Its over. What else is there to brag about. I posted this just to let sony fans know...what the ps3 is doing will be done FIRST on the 360. So yes there are 6 announced for the ps3 and 4 announced for the 360. Games developed for the ps3 soley would not be able to run on the 360 in its current forms. That goes for Gears of War or other games made specifically for the 360's hardware. Thats common sense. Its good to hear they are making the most of the ps3's hardware. People who spend over half a grand deserve hardware specific titels to show off their new purchase. MS announced the price of the core in Japan with 2 games at $230 american dollars. Interesting to see Sony do the same for a system not even released yet. What are they worried about. 10 of the top 18 "HOT" games at TGS are xbox 360 games. With the ps3 getting a whopping 4 in the top 18 and the DS has 2 and the ps2 has 1 and the PC has 1. WOW. Microsoft owns TGS this year from a "HOT GAMES" standpoint. And the first 4 "HOT" games on the list are xbox 360 games. People are really impressed with the 360 this year at TGS. Thanks Microsoft.

PGR3 looks spectacular. It looks better than any screen shot when in motion....But I admit, it looks absolutely best on a HD TV. But that will go for ps3 games as well. If you have standard tv and play a 1080i or p game, you will not get the full affect of the games graphics. Its just the way it is. So before you gripe about next gen games....upgrade your damn tv or stick with your ps2 or xbox.

They also confirmed that you can get the full 1080p via componant cable or vga. I'm sure prior to the ps3 launch they will announce the hdmi cable. I haven't been wrong yet. Really its just common sense. I saw a poll on Gaimdaily.com that had gamers by over 60%...on the HOME page...not a 360 section, say with the news...
