People don't understand...its not easy to build an award winning online community with unbelievable features as MS has done. And there is no way that sony will ever be able to match the 360's online capabilities. But what sad is that most launch games for the ps3 will either A. not have online or B. have a laggy, bad feature online.

sales are not slow buddy. MS is selling as much as they ship and most stores get 3 shipments a week. So its been steady. BTW...every quarter sales have increased since launch. Japan is the ony area thats been horribly slow. But I don't expect sales to pick up in Japan until Blue dragon and lost odyssey come out. Japanese want their type of game PERIOD. I normally don't bash a game. But Resistance looks horrible when watching gameplay. Now its obvious many of those screen shots with no gun or health or ammo being shown was CG. I have lost all respect for SONY. They did it again. Resistance is a launch game and looks like an xbox game from 4 years ago...Where is the destructable enviorments? The guy was shooting boxes and nothing. No explosion...they didn't break...move...anything. This "was" the one game i was interested in....

When I was standing in line to play it, the one in front of me crashed, but because the booth monitor guy was busy resetting to other one, and the booth babes are about as vacant as the movie Domino, I was instructing the guy how to get back into the game. Then, when I finally got around to playing it, it crashed for me as well. Great looking game, fun to play, but unless they fix the framerate issues (I saw it drop to 2 SPF once)

Be the game to beat. It beat out the last game in the GT series according to over 114 reviews by every gaming site on the planet...and it will continue the tradition with Forza 2. GT3 was the last great sim in the GT series. GT4 was a major let down from previous game. Not this case with Forza. Forza 2 will once again blow away any racing sim that Sony can dish out. I don't think 1080p is relevant for millions of gamers...but MS needs a couple games just to let gamers know that no gamin...
Unless you have a 1080p tv...you wont' be getting your moneys worth for the system or the games. When you play games intended for 1080p on a standard tv or even a 720p tv...you won't be getting the 80 dollar game you paid for. The reason games will cost so much is due to the cost for developing on the ps3. And yes your right. I was just informing people that you can "RIGHT NOW" go to the store and buy a vga to dvi to hdmi adapter and watch your 360 on your HD tv that uses HDMI or DVI. When the update is done...you will then get 1080p with your movies and games. Its inexpensive to do and it works like a charm. Why nobody has mention this before....Who knows. But it is a clear option for those who want HDMI or DVI NOW for their 360.

Are not noticable to most people. You would literally not be able to see a difference on any tv less than 61 inches. In some cases I have seen 1080i hd dvd movies that look better than movies on blu ray in 1080p. I have a 1080p tv and I have asked people when I switch it back and forth....no one can tell which is which....so its pretty close. Now to complicate things....if you have a game running in 1080i and you play it on a 1080p tv...it will de interlace the signal and you will actuall...
Everyone knew you had to buy the ps2 or the xbox last gen....It would be the same thing this time around....but....Sony is priced 200 dollars more than the 360. So, with gamers not seeing the justification in the 200 dollar price hike....they will go with the system that hits their budget range first. Both systems will have most of the same 3rd party games.
