No it don't suck. Why? Because there is a usb slot in the back of the 360. So no need to worry about cables being shown buddy.
I can say the gameplay video does not live up to the recent batch of screen shots with No GUN displayed, No HUD, No anything. Yes, I am a bit skeptical. The gameplay video is a much better example of what the game will look like. And it looks decent but not great in the gameplay video. The graphics aren't as good as Prey, or Half life 2. But its decent. I just think the screen shots serve its purpose. It leads people to think that is how the game will look. When all you have to do is ...
The movie industry has absolutely nothing to do with the install base of next gen movie players. It has everything to do with next gen actual "MOVIE" sales. Blu ray makes no sense. You pay 500 plus more for more disc space but no improvement on video or audio quality? That ain't going to fly with "most" consumers. Movie "Watchers" want top notch picture quality and sound. At the best price available. Thats why special editions of movies with extra content ...
Well said my friend. Well said indeed. I agree.
Is this CG cut scenes? I don't see a hud, a weapon...anything to show its actually in game. Sony is good for this type of stuff. Then you get the game home and be like.."what in the world is this". "this ain't like the commercials I watched on tv with cgi cut scenes"..."this ain't the like the screen shots I witnessed prior to buying this game.". "then you all of a sudden realize. "well, when I look back the commercials and screen shots "DID N...
I'm from the hood buddy. I know what its like to save 200 dollars to get a video game console when you have bills and kids and car payments and rent. It ain't easy for many people. That is why Walmart dominates. Pricing means a great deal to "MOST" people. History tells us that console sales don't pick up untill the price hits 200 and under. Its video game consoles folks. And if you look around when you see 10 people with cell phones....9 out of the 10 have cheap 50 dollar ph...
Here is a link to what most people know aleady. The 360 "SOLD" 5 million at the end of the fiscal year.

And gametime. Yes there are much more casual gamers than there are Hard core gamers. But, Sony's problem is that casual gamers will not spend over half a grand on a console. PERIOD. It won't happen. But hard ...
Your 100% correct. The 360 "WILL" at some point release a HDMI cable and Dvi cable. Its just a question of when. And yes all they would need to do is have a firmware update via xbox live and "WALLA" you have 1080p output. The 360 ATI video card can easily output 1080p. MS just decided to target 1080i for games. Its the sweet spot for games over the next 4 years. 1080p is a perk that only a few games will utilize. But its far from a selling point being since less th...
Early adopters obviously don't mind paying 400 to 600 for a new system. Early adopters never are a good indicator of how well a console or format will be accepted. The console who will obtain the biggest fan base will be the first console to hit that 199 sweet spot. That goes for the format war as well. Do you understand how many millions upon millions of consumers don't even consider buying a new console or format till the price is in their range. You have to understand that don't you. ...
The main benefit that "MOST" consumers want in this day an age is "Affordable Pricing". No matter how you spin it....Over half a grand is out of reach for most Gamers and Movie Watchers. So you can talk about the benefits with extra space on the disc. But the most important benefit of all has been neglected. "PRICE". And you couple that with the fact that HD dvd is outperforming blu ray. Its obvious why Universal decided not to back Blu ray at all. And Uni...
You missed the point. I have grown up and realize there is more to what makes a succesful format than a few tech gimmicks....Lots of Laughs. In the past I did like you, I supported the format that had a few extra perks. Not realizing that "MOST" people don't care about that. Only the tech heads. Understand yet? ha ha ha. Probably not. because you are one dimensional and dillusional. I supported all the formats that Sony has pushed in the past. And every one of them failed...
DJ....one thing you seem to forget. Every movies studio supports "DVD" so therefore people can buy any movie thats not supported on HD dvd on DVD and play it on their HD dvd player with superior upscalling that according to many reviews, rivals blu ray movies. Lots of Laughs. So HD dvd supporters will never "NOT" be able to watch "ANY" movie. And just because blu ray has more movie studio support absolutely doesn't make the average consumer say to themselves....
Firstly, Nvidia cards as of now are unalbe to do HDR and AA at the same time. Only the new ATI cards are even capable of doing it. So MS didn't sign a contract to keep those two features exclusive for the 360. Thats silly and makes no sense buddy. And that link you gave was comparing the PC version to the modded PC version. Not the 360 version to the PC version.
Now, to the TRUTH....Do you know how you are going to look after making those kind of claims about games on blu ra...
You need to understand that your perspective isn't indicative of the "MASS" Majority of consumers. Blu ray and the PS3 have seperated itself from the mainstream in every way. First and foremost pricing. The blu ray and the ps3 are two "OVER PRICED" high tech gadgets that will never catch on "WITH THE MAIN STREAM" consumers. I understand you guys are hopeful with sony and its uncharttered waters....but common sense and a good sense of reality would tell you t...
And I beat the game after 80 hours of gameplay. I loved it. My best friend has the PC version and we both agree that the 360 version in 1080i on my 1080p tv with thunderous surround sound beats the PC version and he has a decked out computer. He has the same graphics card that I have. The Nvidia 7950. Content wise the games are identical. The 360 has everthing the PC version has. The graphics are spectacular on the right TV. If the ps3 is getting this game. Thats "Great". ...
They will release a first party adapter/cable HDMI or DVI for the 360. They just realize that very few "Gamers" have TV's with HDMI or DVI support. Most consumers that have HD tv's today, which is only 5% of consumers, utilize the componant connections for their HD tv's. Its all about knowing your base consumers and delivering what they "NEED" at an affordable price. This link explains how easy it is for the 360 to utilize DVI or HDMI.
The 360 version of VT3 will be in 1080 i. If anyone has played an 1080i game on a 1080p television....Its de interlaced and actually displayed in 1080p if its 1080i native. 720p is upscalled to 1080p on a 1080p television.
You can't compare sony as a brand to DVD. Dvd is accepted worldwide by every hardware maker. People can have dvd movies without ever buy a sony product. The name dvd is huge. Ad the HD to it and its name recognition. Sony at most supposively sold 100 plus million consoles. There are 300 million peeople in the US alone and billions of people world wide. DVD is known by anyone with a televion. You can't compare 100 million consumers to billions of people. Sony will never sell 100 milli...
