This Gen has been such a huge letdown. So many games cancelled by Playstation and Xbox and now both are talking about next generation. 1st party studio at PlayStation just haven't delivered like they usually do besides insomniac games
I’m not too surprised by any of these rumors. With how expensive game development has become, it just makes sense that Sony would explore bringing more of their titles to other platforms—including Xbox. They've already mentioned their push toward live-service games, which we know are going to be multi-platform anyway.
And when you think about games like Spider-Man, Miles Morales, and Spider-Man 2—as incredible as they are—most of the core PlayStation audience has alread...
I understand the criticism toward Microsoft, but the reality is they’re a $3 trillion company with major influence in gaming. They've invested heavily—hundreds of billions—acquiring studios and publishers, which inevitably shapes the industry's direction.
As someone who values single-player experiences, I have to admit: Xbox has delivered more than people give credit for this generation. That said, the overall generation has felt underwhelming. I partly blame the pa...
This is winning for gamers now we no longer have to buy 1 box for just their games. MS sees playstation as an avenue they could use to grow their revenue
I think halo will come to PS5 really soon. Gamescom is when we will see more announcements. Starfield 2025, COD7 and I could see 1 more big title
No actually they are happy because they get 30% for zero work
Sony can't block any game from appearing on their store
No Sony doesn't but both companies own shares together in other companies for example :
FromSoftware: Sony and Tencent, through its subsidiary Sixjoy, together own a significant stake (over 30%) in FromSoftware, the Japanese video game studio known for games like Elden Ring and Dark Souls. Sixjoy owns 16.25% and Sony Interactive Entertainment owns 14.09% of FromSoftware.
Epic Games: Tencent is a major investor in Epic Games (the developer of Fortnite)...
on topic:
I don't think any of us are or will be surprised, fact is every single xbox game will come to playstation. Forza horizon 5 just sold over 2 million copies and that's a old game from MS. That's hundreds of millions extra income. Halo and Starfield will be announced bext IMO. Gears remake is coming to PS5 so why wouldn't future games come out on PS?

chat GPT simply ask for last 6-7 years of data regarding soulslike and roguelike games
What actual evidence? Here some actual evidence that backs up the fact there are too many soulslike and roguelike games each year
Roguelike Games:
2020: 311 releases
2021: 432 releases
2022: 704 releases
2023: 1,082 releases
2024: 1,620 releases
2025 (to date): 997 releases
Soulslike Games:
2019: 54 releases
Gaming is filled like soulslike and roguelike. Both of these genre are overflowing with way too many average games
Almost every big indie is Rougelike. TBH we are missing some action adventure story driven games, single player story driven shooters, platformers
Roguelike Games:
2020: 311 releases
2021: 432 releases
2022: 704 releases
2023: 1,082 releases
2024: ...
It's OK I have been on this site for a while now but facts are facts. MS at 3 trillion is just absurd and them not being able to compete with Nintendo and Playstation is just mind boggling
But if we look at software side they own some of the biggest gaming IP's and I am glad they are letting gamers play them regardless of platform. Like for example before Forza horizon 5 what was the best arcade racing game on PlayStation? So we should be happy millions get to enjo...
I agree gaming companies have become extremely greedy it's not juts Nintendo but they are the only ones charging $80 for games and $90 for Joysticks
PS Pro should have come with a disk drive and a stand but like I said before gamers are the biggest hypocrites. We all have our favorites and we defend them when it's our favorite company or game. And this is the first generation where consoles became more expensive after launch instead of price reduction
5 million consoles sold. Mario Kart at $80 — and over 85% of buyers happily paid it. So yeah, that price hike? It's not going anywhere. Why? Because we, the gamers, spoke loud and clear... with our wallets.
But wait — we only seem to ‘vote with our wallets’ selectively. One company raises prices? Pitchforks. Nintendo sells a cardboard box for $60? Suddenly it’s innovation. Charge for a user manual? Bold. Sell a console at profit(from day one 2hen others sell it at loss ...
TBH I don't think MS cares. They are so big and they make so much money they simply don't care. Xbox is their side hustle and let's not forget Xbox is still the biggest software publisher in gaming by a wide margin.
Sony and Nintendo combined combined are worth 252 billion while ms is worth 3 trillion. Next Xbox handheld is in works along with home console so if MS were hurting by Xbox they wouldn't invest billions more on new hardware
Like 95-98% of the things already aren't made in China. Even when we as a nation deal with other countries those countries turn around and hand it out to China for bigger profit margins
People in this country just don't understand how China has the biggest work force and it's only growing. If you ever go to Sam's club look by the fruit section there will be peeled garlic inside the refrigerator underneath that box of garlic it says from China or made in Chin...
Comments in just this one news story show how much doubt there is regarding UBI

“The issue with your comment is that while it's better now, the game didn’t just come out — it originally released years ago and only recently improved. That said, I really hope this turns into a huge success and becomes the best Battlefield game yet. I’m genuinely excited, especially since it’s being led by the same person whose studio gave us the Titanfall 2 campaign — one of the best FPS campaigns ever
Man 2nd is the best in the series IMO. Play it
