Anyone who want to try SF6 should wait for the ultimate edition at $25-30 down the road. Absolutely not worth the Dlc price

I think you are right there won't be a switch 2 version but let's be honest here if they can get this game working on series s than switch 2 can handle it too. XBSS was a mistake by MS, all digital console is fine as we can see with Ps5 digital but the specs should have been the same as series x just without a disk drive

I doubt that FPS games like these will come to switch 2. There has to be a release that does well on switch 2 for other publishers to maybe start supporting it
It means they will evaluate which games they think make sense to release on other platforms. Playstation isn't going anywhere. Sony needs Playstation to be successful while Xbox is a side hustle for MS (that's the biggest difference between the mentality, Sony wants gamers to buy into their ecosystem while MS now just want continued growth and profit)

Agreed. Imagine if their 1st and 2nd party studios had steady output like past generations. Even at that they will be around 90-100 million by end of the year
Why are we acting surprised? We never saw actual gameplay from Perfect Dark—not a single fully playable area from start to finish. Same with Contraband. After 7 years for one project and 4 for the other, all we’ve seen are tech demos. At that point, it’s fair for Microsoft to ask whether continued funding is worth it.

That doesn't mean they can't make the 3rd game. It was a bad breakup or anything. HD2 allowed them more financial freedom to where they can self fund the next game. Would it really surprise anyone if that game is still PS5 and PC only absolutely not. You have to realize in gaming right now you only have 2 options

Definitely mafia 1 and 2 were peak mafia series. And if we take this review at face value old country has similar gameplay which IMO never wss an issue. Like I said there is only so much you can do to make gameplay better in a 3rd person story driven games

That's my point we all like games for different reasons. I am one of those weird people who play GTA for story and I don't mess around with open that much. While others may never finish story and just having fun messing around in the sandbox
For me story is the most important and gameplay a close 2nd (I much rather have both match each other's qualities so there is a drastic quality difference)

You play them for the story and characters and it's not some folka who found it fun it was millions of mafia series fans. Maybe it's just not for you. For example I am not into turned based gaming so I never understood the hype around Expedition 33 since it's gameplay to me is really boring but the story and characters make up for the gameplay shortcomings for me personally
It's 3rd person shooter I am not sure how it can be generic since there is onoy so much you can do. We play mafia games for story and character. Mafia 2 considered by many as the best mafia game had genetic shooting too. I got no issue with these sites saying these things but than they turn around and praise FPS games released yearly with same gameplay year after year
Hopefully the path they are on now will stay the same for a while. Release games on as many platforms as possible, generate more revenue and profits while at the same time keeping giving gamers in Xbox ecosystems the ability to play games through gamepass

People just don't realize how different things could have been is there no series s. Developers wouldn't be skipping or delaying release simply because of parity clause. That 1 decision by MS set back this whole generation

This isn't mafia 4. This is a side story. AA games usually are $50 and provide 10-20 hours of content. Developers said the length will be similar to mafia 1 remake which was in no way a short game. Please support this game if you want mafia 4
Hopefully the quality will be there, we all need to realize if we don't support these kind of games then the Publishers will only want to fund the big AAA Blockbusters which will cost $70-80
I rarely buy games at full price anymore — not because I don’t love gaming, but because so many titles launch incomplete and rely on post-release patches to feel finished.
I’m really interested in the Mafia and Metal Gear Solid remakes, but I’m willing to wait until they drop below $30. And honestly, waiting has multiple advantages:

First game is good, 2nd is great and 3rd is okay. Hopefully 4th is awesome. What's kind of cool is how each game has a drastically different gameplay style
It will be very interesting to see which sell better BF or COD. I am not a FPS MP fan but as someone just on the sideline it would be amazing to see someone dethrone COD but I have my doubts
Hopefully this is the best BF game ever and the learning curve isn't too steep to where casual simply skip it. It needs to have perfect mixture of deep gameplay and easy pick up and play
