Agreed. I love RDR but couldn't get into RDR2. The animations take forever and game slows you down on purpose. It won't let you have fun because R* want us to play the game they want to. I know millions love RDR2 and I even bought and own it. But just wasn't for me.
It's like comparing GTA4 to saints row 2. One game was about fun while the other was about realism and that's coming from someone who beat GTA4 many times. I much rather a game be fun to play...
It’s crazy how digital games cost publishers far less to release — no discs to press, no cases to print, no shipping or retail markups — yet the price is exactly the same as physical copies. Those savings were never passed down to consumers. It’s the same pattern we saw during COVID-19, when companies and CEOs blamed “supply chain disruptions” to justify price hikes. But when those supply chains were restored, did anyone lower their prices? Of course not — in many cases, they went even higher...
😁
The original is a great game too and I really like it
An amazing game with major pacing issues? Are you sure it's really amazing? I say it's good go very good and even on metacritic user scores are around 85. Masterpieces need to sell gaming isn't a charity like many gamers like to assume. There are only 2 ways to judge a game. It's successful and met its goals or it didn't and Alan wake 2 definitely didn't
Combat is clunky
Pacing is a major issue
Objectives aren't always clear...
Halo needs to come to playstation. Just being the McC collection. We need gears of war 2,3, judgment, 4 and 5 on playstation too
This site needs a major refresh IMO
This game has everything is just scary 😁. I hope this lives up to the hype snd expectations. So far whatever fbet have shown is stellar but we know sometimes companies show off polished slices of gameplay
I know this is a known company that has the funding and that's why I think this could be something special
Same been going on for a while now
So now XSX may become a collectors item 😁😜
They keep pushing this to see how far they can and as long as people buy it they won't care. I spoke with few gamers who buy NBA 2k every year and to them the game cost is $170. They buy the game than spend $100 upgrading their players for my court and online playing. They were happy with it and that's when I realized we just have people who either don't care or don't understand what they choices mean for rest of the industry
Honestly, with all the hype and excitement surrounding Battlefield right now, it feels like this could finally be the year where Battlefield actually gives Call of Duty some serious competition. The trailers, the community buzz, and even the nostalgia factor are all working in Battlefield’s favor this time.
But here’s the real question — do we actually think Battlefield will outsell COD in 2025? Because history says otherwise. COD has one of the strongest brand loyalties in...
30 year console gamer noob went full on pc 2-3 years ago haven't looked back. If I can figure it out anyone can. And this isn't a console vs pc issue it's a Unity engine issue
A lot of gamers are just buying digital now compared to when the 1st ghost game came out
Everyone needs to calm down. The media is sensationalizing Saudi Arabia’s acquisition of EA, but in reality, this is just another step in their long-term investment strategy. Saudi and other Gulf states have already poured tens of billions into global sports and entertainment.
Look at Qatar’s investments in European football: PSG went from an average club to a global powerhouse under Qatari ownership. Fans might debate decisions, but no one can deny the growth and stability...
no remasters and remakes provide those games to new audiences and improve the look/gameplay
i meant to say if someone buys 2 games at full price they have spent half of what it would cost for a year of GPU. I just don't think as of now GP is a $30 service. Shocking thing is MS knows even at $30 GPU can't be sustained. But now they are at a closer point of being profitable
Personally, I think it’s still worth it for gamers who can justify the cost and actually put in the hours. The value is there — a lot of new Xbox games are available day one, and if you buy just two games like The Outer Worlds 2 at $80 each, you’ve already matched the yearly cost.
For me though, I won’t be renewing. I only play 2–3 hours a week, and I can’t justify paying that much. Gaming overall has simply become too expensive. Budgets for AAA games keep skyrocketing, and...
Sure are you also willing to boycott all the others companies in which Saudi have major stakes in?
Capcom
SNk
Take Two
Nintendo
Embracer group
How is anyone surprised by this? There was Zero chance that GTA6 would launch at anytime other than holiday season. I know in the past GTA games have launched around April but GTA6 is too big
I fully expected 2 delays my own thing is now when we get close to summer 2026 that they may say we need 6 more months. I am 99.9% sure GTA6 will release in November 2026.
