The gameplay alone makes this at minimum 7/10. In games like these you don't play for story of characters. It's all about gameplay and this game gets that right, but in year 2025 people don't care about gameplay as much as graphics and story there is a reason every developer is rushing to Unreal Engine 5
These sort of gamers wouldn't have even become gamers if they were in NES, SNES, Sega genesis days because back than all you got was gameplay

I think a company has failed when they give out a free game as in I got a free game and I bought my GPU and I have yet to play it please stop making these over exposed open word games which are not fun and instead filled with repetitive quests average game play and average traversal

First of all these are the numbers for sales within first 24 hours. Also since they are talking aboit shipment it means they aren't including digital sales which now accounts for over 75% of sales. And for a remake which are a lot less expensive to make sales of 3-5 million would be great
It's sucker punch I don't think they have ever made a bad or even average game. They are very quite studio but their releases are for gamers by gamers
Best 256 million spent. Insomniac was actually worth billions. Spiderman 1, miles morales, Spiderman 2, ratchet and clank and now working on wolverine most likely next Spiderman and ratchet. While studios like ND have released remakes and remasters. Insomniac just doesn't get the credit and recognition
I hope onc day they do a game like marvel ultimate alliance (similar with actual AAA production values)
Gameplay feels generic 3rd person but fun. One thing I noticed is how the guards fell a little down and they are automatically out or eliminated. This game should have been a RPG with different powers and gadgets unlocking. Not like a 100 hour game but like 20-25 hours story driven RPG

It's for Playstation brother. Xbox and pc has had the game for a while. Just like how Forza horizon 5 did so well on PS5. These games are getting PC released but the main focus is PS5/NS2
As someone who bought 2 loot chest editions of BL2 along with 1 special edition I just don't care for this. I will pick up the complete version when it's $20. Now I am willing to buy it if this game is really great but I have my doubts

Exactly they use the gamers who buy day one as game testers and with that feedback they make patches. Why pay for QA testers when gamers are willing to pay full price snd provide feedback free of charge
This is common the last 10 years now. Release the game and fix it later. Sometimes games get fixed other times take the money and move to the next project. No matter the Publisher or studio I just don't buy any games day 1. Every single game gets better after launch even if it's 2 patches
So now gamers pay for early access and get a lesser quality product
Am I defending the 2006 vs 2025 game? All I said is this game isn't a 5/10. You can feel how you feel about older games being remastered but fact is there are millions of new gamers who will be getting to play gears for the first time
Crazy how things turn out — first Sony scooped up Evo, now you’ve got Saudi/Middle Eastern money floating around in the mix. Honestly, not shocking at all. These countries are sitting on oil money reserves that make Western corporations look broke. They already flipped the PGA upside down with LIV Golf, offered Tiger Woods almost a billion, bought soccer teams across Europe, hosted a World Cup in Qatar, and are building their own Saudi league with Ronaldo, Neymar, etc.
