That and Xbox Game Studios first-party, yes. (Come on, The Initiative can't get it together and nobodies getting along, you know I'm right on this.)
THIS IS ONE OF THE DUMBEST THINGS IVE HEARD THIS WEEK. WHY? Developers have no accountability to you. They're not a government entity. You don't pay taxes to them and, honestly, it's none of your business you nosey s.o.b.! What a bunch of KEVINS. The ONLY sense this argument would make, would be null-and-void because Kickstarter already makes sure that base is covered. That could be your ONLY right to know. The only exception I heard of this and it would've made sense is in th...
Except it's holding back gaming. To provide a budget console when the PS5 and Series X are around, devs have two options. Limit the scope of their vision to cater to a last gen console, or develop exclusively for Sony. We're three years in and consoles are readily available. I don't know if scalpers are really suffering at this point, but it's totally okay to let last gen go and focus on power and resources.
We haven't even seen Naughty Dogs capabilities...
Right..... That's why it's selling so well
Wow, this is incredibly biased. This reads like a desperate person trying to do what they can do uptalk and save a dying brand, it sounds desperate. There's a mass of many that would argue this
But that's how this dev is probably conditioned by Microsoft to think though, and this would be the result
How would they know until they've done something with it to find out. How long did Activision say that about Crash Bandicoot I wonder, until Sony may have approached them and said: Hey, how about selling us the Crash IP back. We have some ideas. Look at Crash now. Xbox, it's just how they all do business. Their executives aren't gamers, they're college graduates that spent weekends at frat parties getting wasted and have degrees in business and marketing and only know how to r...
I seriously think this subject is very misinterpreted and misunderstood. Xbox supporters will blinders like to make it seem like SEGA and Microsoft have the best thing going and they're best pals because Xbox has seemed to really need the pick me up, but SEGA is perfectly happy remaining very independent and going where they want to go. Even though Nintendo was their biggest rival, at least while they were SEGA, Sammy doesn't care about old grudges, SEGA for some reason loves to put S...
BULL. FACED. LIE. If you actually believe this, you're the most ignorant and gullible human being on the face of this planet, or at least one of them
They're gonna jack it up, they always do, and really, bringing someone on board to pick up where someone left off, especially when Fable had the reputation it did (because the Xbox 360 during it's time put up a fight against the PS3 and really made PlayStation's job a rough one going), and that's a tall order to fill, it really is. Sure, it'll be pretty but it's not gonna be the same. Australian humor is quite different from British humor, it's cons getting dumped ...
Because it's Microsoft in any business as a whole. Xbox hasn't had to work for anything. They treat everyone, including their consumers however they want and sabotage relationships and then just go to the mother company to ask for bottomless pockets to bail them out. That's what this is about, Microsoft just buys themself out of everything while everyone else has to work hard to build relationships, be innovative, and feed creativity. Xbox just wants to be Disney and mimic PlaySta...
Microsoft CEO says he doesn't like exclusives? I guess we should see if you practice what you preach, then, eh? Xbox isn't making money on its original Gears of War trilogy, port that.
The truth of the matter is, Xbox very much believes in exclusives, and they want them just as much as this E3 Press Briefing is flooded with that mentality, only Xbox was too busy of playing the political game of "we support the LGBTQP+ community" instead of focusing on gami...
Yup
We saw this with PS Vita and that's what Sony SHOULD HAVE DONE was make a PS Vita 2, but this looks like another mistake. You could've done this with your smartphone and an attachable controller to to your phone for a lot less, but PS Vita was PERFECT! It was designed with the input of developers, it was powerful, comfortable, and innovative. When the console launched, it launched at the same price as the Nintendo 3DS forcing Nintendo to drop the price of the 3DS Nintendo did immediat...
And that's typically how it goes and when you acquire a studio you have that right. But how Microsoft is going about this is cowardess. As I read other articles, you find that those who know nothing about the gaming industry are just like: Yeah, sure. Go ahead and let the acquisition happen. Americans aren't well liked in the rest of the world anyway and maybe they see it as a sabotage move to make Americans look even more stupid in the world eye. But those privy to the industry are t...
MIND YOU that Phil Spencer, as he claims it's necessary to hold tight the exclusives you can, never bothered to stand up for gaming community and tell MLB to stick it, that that's not what they do, but it suited Phil Spencer's agenda to give them something from PlayStation they so desperately wanted so, all that: "But under oath Spencer responded to the questions asked of him." Come on, oaths don't mean anything these days. The 10 Commandments say THOU SHALT NOT BEAR...
WHAT A BOLD FACED LIE!!!!!
https://www.windowscentral....
Ah, Microsoft, but MLB The Show IS on Xbox and you gave PlayStation's game away FOR FREE on Game Pass while Sony had to:
1) Pay for development of the game
2) Develop the game by their own studio
3) Were forced BY the MLB to develop for competing plat...
Microsoft's CEO said in a statement he said: "I don't like console exclusives." This shows you that this whole court case is a circus and Microsoft are The Clowns sent in for your amusement. THIS WHOLE SHOW from Microsoft is them kissing the courts butt to appeal to them to make this deal for through. They're playing the pity card. "Whoa is us", " oh poor us", we just can't compete...... Blah, blah, blah. They made PlayStation's life miserable...
[Part 2]
The big issue is the fact Microsoft has so much money. Xbox itself isn't that profitable, but when they dip into Microsoft's funds pool, it's unlimited. Neither Sony nor Nintendo have that kind of money. So when you're seeing such absorbent amounts of money being thrown around like $117 million for Ninja Theory, etc. It does show that Microsoft isn't interested in establishing real relationships with devs or they don't want to work with Micr...
Dude, where do you come from? Are you a internet drifter that squats on N4G? You and.... Who is it, Foxtrot? The goober that has the Miles Tails pic. Y'all are everywhere, all the time
