Sony would know. They've had games on Game Pass and other developers aren't going to talk as much. One thing you learn in business is not to bite the hand that feeds because you never knew when you could end up in a bad situation and rely on friends to bail you out. These are also small studios that are trying to build a name for themselves and don't know any better. Bigger companies like SEGA are putting games on Game Pass that they feel have already made their money, Game Pass i...

Nah. That's not really true. While I don't agree with the political stances and agenda's Naughty Dog has been pushing and hope they find a way to go back to the fun-loving colorful more comedic style they've had, as The Last of Us is apparently going to continue on for as long as Druckmann is there, they need to leave that behind, or at least limit it only to their Last of Us projects. We don't game to get preached to. Uncharted wasn't about preaching to anyone, it was...

How do you figure? Honestly, tell me how that's the case? How am I as a console gamer better off today than I was a week ago? How do I win? I win because a corporation that wants to nickel and dime me to death got their way? A Corporation that has enough power over everyone just got handed more power by the government? The day paid DLC, loot boxs, microtrasactions, and season passes cease to exist is the day I'll agree with you that Gamers Won because I don't see myself in a bette...

"The rich kid buying their way to the top". It doesn't matter what kind of gamer you are or what side of the fence you're on. It's true that various sources and a variety contribute to the evolution of the hobby and when Xbox came on seen back in 2002 it was interesting to see the newcomer and they did okay. The Xbox 360 disrupted things for Sony. I don't see the PS3 failure that majority of people see. The PS3 was a powerhouse and it lasted 10 years, compared to pre...

A rather generic interview with all the same diplomatic responses. There are all the tough questions that nobody wants to ask because, who wants to bite the hand that feeds, right? But it's the same sounding interview just with Konami

Ouch. It goes to show Xbox can do nothing to build developer relations, do whatever they want and apologize to consumers to con them into buying into the way Microsoft wants to do things. We saw Xbox's biggest franchise die with Halo on life support and we just a saw that all Microsoft has to do is reach into their deep pockets and just buy whatever they want. How is Nintendo cool with all of this? How does this not worry Nintendo? Has Nintendo just accepted that it keeps going until its ...

This is some sticky territory because I don't buy current gen consoles for games I played yesterday. I move on. Phil Spencer and Xbox design and make THE WORLDS MOST POWERFUL CONSOLE like they have Napoleonic Syndrome and then they want to use all that power to backward compatability and games that look like they should be on the PlayStation, that's why you want the worlds most powerful console? I buy new hardware for new gaming experiences and new games. I'm hearing a lot of curr...

And hows Nintendo been doing? And hows Microsoft been doing? Microsoft always has women at their E3 Press Conferences. PlayStation doesn't either. They had one at PlayStation Experience a couple years in a row, but PlayStation is near entirely managed by men in contrast to Xbox

It appears the Cheese Stands Alone, most people don't seem to agree with you from what zim hearing so, you're in the minority

And they're griping they don't have any games on Game Pass. My question is, if it's as profitable as developers say it is, why are they pulling their games instead of leaving them on Game Pass and why isn't everyone flocking to Game Pass then? Because there's no money. Microsoft pockets a ton of money from their subscription service, but the developer gets screwed.

David Jaffe praises Game Pass, but you know something about David Jaffe? He doesn't ma...

You're just now noticing that? And it's not good for the industry and a lot of people have known that. We're talking people that aren't wearing blinders, people that understand economics, accounting, ya know financial and business-type stuff of which this writer doesn't seem to understand ANY of that and where's blinders themself

They don't care because its not copyright infringement because its not actually The Last of Us, it just bears similarities, that's how you get away with it. See, you make Super Mario Bros and, pretty much just copy the code, and then release it on the PlayStation Store as Super Davinci Bros, and then you can't get sued. Nintendo is quick to sue anyone and everyone to protect their IPs and ensure they're making money but because this doesn't effect Nintendos bottom line, th...

It's only available there. They won't release it in the States unless they want a big fat lawsuit from Naughty Dog. UK only game

My most anticipated game of this year I'm getting the feeling they're gonna cancel it. It seems to be in development hell but, I'm still waiting for Blazing Strike, but Pocket Bravery sounds interesting

The Project Q from PlayStations been taking a lot of heat lately but honestly, business-wise, it's in Sony's best interests. I recently was looking into the possibility of a portable PC, such as the Steam Deck, but once I saw what the ASUS ROG was going for, I mean, it's cheaper than my cell phone was when I got it, but, they dont what cell phones do for consoles, VR, and handhelds. So, while Sony's option isn't portable, a lot of people play their Switch undocked at home,...

I'm actually really looking forward to playing this, just don't have the money for it right now.... I've been waiting on a sizable price drop, but I'm gonna get there. NOT playing the Dead Space remake though, if I wanna play those, I'll play them as they were intended on an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3

Don't they all? He's the father of Fable. It really is a loss to Microsoft Lionhead is gone. With all the money Microsoft's throwing around at acquiring studios, they gave up one of their best. Lionhead was fine until someone at Microsoft said: Hey, my names K.S. we're working on this thing called Kinect and Xbox says you have no choice. I mean, come on Milo? Would've been cool, but Lionhead was better off working on Fable. So they scrapped the studio and gave it to Playgr...

Hey, it's Naughty Dog. It took time for Sony to build Naughty Dog up from where they were. Crash Bandicoot was pretty big, and ironically not Sony's IP anymore, not that it ever was as Marc Cerny recommended it be sold and Activision bought it and it's about to fall in the hands of Sony's competitor, yeah, irony. But Jak & Daxter was no big thing, I NEVER heard anyone talk about Jak & Daxter but once Uncharted 2 hit, PlayStation knew who Naughty Dog was. By then, InFam...

I've tried playing Halo. It came out when I was in High School and I haven't played it until very recently, I wanted the hype the die and it seemed like a great time to play it while Xbox is eating some humble pie. There's also a pretty good stretch where I'm not gonna have much to play and it's time to dip into my back catalog and this seemed like a good series to start. I was also playing it alongside Shenmue and just finished I&II.

As I started Ha...
