You don't. Do sequels. If you've gotta reboot, might as well do a new IP. God of War is the only game I can say that did a successful reboot
Not gonna say anything. Xbox fans want things done their way, so let them dig their own graves. Done trying I help them
I think the FTC buckled to pressure. They should be proud of their efforts win or lose. Its called LOOKIN OUT, HAVIN YOUR BACK. What we learned is that they're mindful and trying to do what they can with what they feel is best, even if it's not publically popular. I don't think it was a waste. If they were doing nothing, then I'd be concerned, because then your tax dollars are just paying someone to sit at a desk. A lot of money, we're talking $80,000-$120,000 per employee...
Now that's some side plates. Too bad I already have a PS5. Would be cool to have those on a PS5 while playing it. But that's the beauty of it, huh? Doesn't have to be limited edition, for very long anyway. Sony can sell the plates to be swapped out. There's more money in that than trying to move a console. At $50/set of plates, yup. A lot cheaper than manufacturing a whole console.
Mr. Lempel, ya screwed up on this one.
We're gonna learn about how Activision does a lot of business now. They don't care anymore. The board made all their money and can retire now. Let's see what skeletons hide in the closes and watch all the dead bodies float to the surface.
"We didn't want to tell you at first, but we didn't really your consoles all along. We've been rockin it on PC and your fanaticism for our brand and doing all our marketing for us, hey, it helped, but we didn...
Gotta look good for Microsoft. Don't wanna screw things up for Xbox and make them look bad after they just spent $70 billion on ya.
Xbox needs this. Bad.
You sound surprised. Man, the industry really is desperate for news during July. Sonic the Hedgehog games are typically well known for having great CG intros to the games, you sound like this is news a total shock
This is what we've resorted to? Is Dry July really this bad? What a bunch of immature undereducated. Well, if you live in the United States, anyway, there's good news as you're entitled to a free education, that's right ENTITLED.
You're aware of ART, right? Artists do art in the field of video game development. Well, in order to get a degree in art, you have to understand human anatomy because we're all built up according to how we develop in the fem...
Hm. This smells like and looks like a publicity stunt. It's like free marketing or something. What's their angle? There's something behind this we're not seeing but it smells like publicity stunt. Microsoft agrees to delay to make it seem CMA are doing their job better than the Americans and CMA makes sure and outs plans in place to embarrass the UKs very own whose the CEO of PlayStation and make him look bad and seem totally incompetent to save the CMAs image so they don'...
Business as usual at Xbox. They can't stand the suits crushing them and dictating them so off they go, PlayStation is run by gamers, actual gamers, not college grads that joined frats and sororities and drank their college educations away and got business and marketing degrees somehow and just so happened to end up at Xbox. Sure you can read a graph and a spreadsheet and interpret market research, but Xbox apparently really doesn't know a thing about gaming. Just watch 'Gears of W...

It's gonna be really interesting to see reviews for this. Is it all hype. Everyone in the media seems to be divided not knowing what to do but this is PC fricken gamer, no bias there and if they're not happy, there ya go. How's the media part of the industry going to handle that kind of divisi...
@ Shane Kim. For real, dude. Jim Ryan went in thinking he could coast along and sit in his leather chair and sip bourbon but he learned he actually was going to have to work. They canned Jack Tretton and Shawn Layden for him.... Seriously? Tretton helped make Naughty Dog what they are today. What did Jim Ryan do? Got rid of Liverpool Studio and Wipeout. Evolution Studio, Forza's direct competitor with Drive Club that were still getting started. Gran Turismo is its own thing, it simulation...
This guy's been through a lot of crap and had to work really hard to keep the image positive. He's had to sit in the front row of many Game of the Year Awards Shows and watch PlayStation win several Game of the Year Awards and watch Xbox walk away with nothing, and a couple of times they captured the look on his face and he looks broken. This guy has given his all for his job though. I'm surprised he's not retiring altogether, with Microsoft money and pension, he can be done a...
Dude! For real! I'm so glad I'm not the only one. Good for you, man. Good for you. Good for you. Wow! That's cool! Or could they keep Larry Hyrb and get rid of Aaron Greenberg instead. Awesome, man
Hold on.... Why is that Sony backs out of E3 but goes to this? Jim Ryan, trying to make Europe a dominate force, you're trying to that Knighthood aren't you? You want to be Sir James Ryan? I wouldn't knight anyone who hasn't put their life on the line in a military sense to defend their country. Knighthood seems more like a popularity contest and then political and seeming more important in the public eye. Like giving Kobe Bryant a Purple Heart.
More remakes we never wanted. I want new games, new IPs that aren't based on Games as A Service business model......
Man, I guess I won't be buying anymore Activision games. And if you're into Activision, maybe now is the time to buy games on competing platforms while you can. Tony Hawk, Crash Bandicoot, Spider-man, Transformers. There's a lot of games going to Xbox. I mean Crash Bandicoot is going to Xbox. I know Crash games have appeared on other consoles but it's the feeling all over again of seeing Sonic the Hedgehog on Nintendo.
What do you expect when you want to get...
Clearly this didn't do very good on Xbox, which is about the only reason it's coming to PlayStation. PlayStation may not even want it, unless the devs fixed its issues and releases the PlayStation Edition. Literally call it the PlayStation Edition allowing it to be resubmitted for reviews again and maybe it'll see more success on the PlayStation like starting fresh and maybe see success from their game but, right now, it seems broken. PlayStation got lucky with Redfall, Xbox suffe...
