Gamers should be demanding more from both Sony and Microsoft.
The reality is probably the two best games I am looking forward to this holiday is CyberPunk and Yakuza. Both games are available on PS4 and XBO. And CyberPunk won't even have a next gen version yet.
MS having Gears Tactics at launch is good because it is a new entry into a different genre for the franchise. But lacking a game that will have broad appeal at launch is an issue. The strat...
Ya, the simple answer is, if you don't like it, nobody is forcing you to play it.
I couldn't care less what whatever fanboys think. I have played all the Yakuza games available on both PS and XB. They are all good. This looks to be the best one yet.
A good game is a good game no matter what platform it is on.
I am excited for this game!
Cancel culture? That is so stupid. How can you cancel something you haven't started? I have heard the term a lot lately, but frankly it is a far right conservative view.
It is more like they just don't think that is the best idea for a game that would sell successfully.
I think the definition of family friendly is evolving. There are some people that don't watch/buy any technology or entertainment. Then, there are people that will watch/b...
I play games on a platform based on what will provide the best visual/audio experience, what controls best suit the game, achievement/trophy availability (for gamer accomplishment/history tracking), and what is available to play on. With more and more games being cross platform and cross save I find that the decision of what to play on is more "environmental" for me then subscribing to a specific gaming device "religion".
I just try and choose the best ...
We often hear about crunch time for games to make their release. Most studios barely get their games out on time and quite often games are incomplete now-a-days.
I would rather have studios delay their games for whatever reason and ship an acceptable quality product, then ship a mess that requires three months of patching just to get the game into a decent state.
Nobody lives or dies because of gaming. Games are entertainment not food or shelter. We ca...
Their purchase of Linked in was over $20 bln dollars.
If they want Valve they would be willing and can afford Valve.
There should be a build-your-own console...
Choose Resolution (1440p or 4K)
Choose HDD Size (.5 - 8 TB)
Choose Blu-ray or not (Y/N)
Click finish and you get a console you want.
Yup, and really the big thing hear is noise. And I would prefer a large and quiet console design which both vendors have chosen, to a small and noisy design. I really don't care about size as much as I do noise.
My biggest complaint with XBO X and PS4 Pro is noise.
If you sign up for XB Rewards you now get reward points for "things you do all throughout XB". You save up the points and you can redeem them for digital gift cards which can be used to buy whatever you want in the Microsoft or XB stores.
LOL.
Microsoft and Sony get rid of load screens by making fast SSD....
Publishers and developers insert ads to replace said load screens!
Because a game is third party does that mean it can't be as good as exclusives?
Seems kind of dumb that who makes the game makes it good enough to make the top 20 PS4 list.
And btw... Horizon Zero Dawn, Detroit, , and The Witness are not exclusives.
So, you'd rather them find some spoiled 12-15 kid and film them at their parents mansion being the first to get a hold of and play XSX?
They didn't do a ton of hype in the video. The guy walked into a gaming room was invited to sit down and be the first to play XSX. Afterwards they gave him some XB / Astro stuff and the guy gave a little appreciation and that was it.... The video wasn't full of XB logos everywhere, Microsoft reps everywhere, no one bragging a...
Ya, given that no one console has had that level of sales, I doubt any of the big three will get there anytime soon.
The XB already has features to jump to the web to get help in completing achievements.
PS5 has made this slicker and easier to access for sure, but it is not like you can't do 70% of this on XB.
This should be labelled an opinion piece.
Second, i wish this site would allow me to opt out of opinion pieces.
We will probably see differences as we get farther down the life cycle of these consoles, but, I still see these differences as very minor at best.
Whether it be the SSD, memory, storage, CPU, or GPU I don't think that the performance differences in either console are going to be significant to a gamer from a practical stand point.
I don't have to wait for Demon's Souls. I can already play it on my PS3 so there is nothing that I can play on a PS5 that I can't already play on my earlier PS3 or PS4 devices except Destruction All-Stars. LOL. If that's your reason for buying a PS5 you are really picking at straws!
That is 3 better than XBO did.
