Here we go with yet another review giving a game more credit than it deserves, nonetheless everything -must- be revolutionary these days.
Come on, it's a good, fun game, but ultimately lacking, flawed, and with a HUGE lack of depth.
Like, you know, about every other "AAA" videogame ever.
Yeah, seriously, it's like the developers forget they're making a trailer for a videogame.
Just show gameplay or at least have the decency of making the trailer with your in-game engine, for crying out loud. In this generation, there's little if no space for actual CG, anyways.
How dare they not make the platforming "Press X to win", huh, OPM?
You -are- aware that honorifics are almost never kept in localizations, right? Mainly because they're odd in spoken english.
Unless the translation comes from a weeaboo fansub group that will have TL Notes everywhere, of course.
"...but gets rid of all that tedious backpack rummaging, and boring dialog!"
Sure sounds like BioWare's dream game, just don't forget the waifu simulation and blatant homolust.
So much for "no casual kids on PlayStation", eh?
Every new, highly hyped, big budget game "raises the bar" nowadays.
"As a girl gamer"
Stopped reading there.
I still can't believe they're selling one StarCraft game for the price of three, and people buy 'em without doubt.
Oh, Activision.
Miley Cyrus is also a "huge gamer". When asked why she likes videogames, she replied: "They're, uhh...fun...and stuff." Obviously, this had nothing to do with the fact videogames are the next cool thing.
Cyrus also stated "The cake is a lie!" whilst wearing a Portal T-Shirt. "Us gamers, us gamers!" she proclaimed.
Watch the full interview at eleven, only in Faux Newz.
So, we might get a game instead of a movie.
Yay!
It's coming out NEXT year, bro.
That music, man. That music.
Pre-ordered the OST already.
Honestly, his review is pretty valid.
God forbid he actually points out the game's flaws!
"What would be so "horrible" about having a "Buy, Rent, Pass" review system?"
The fact that it arbitrarily states if the game is worth purchasing or not as if a critic's opinion was to be held as an ultimate, irrefutable truth, instead of...you know, opinions, perhaps?. Again, y'know, like, the scores we all loathe and bitch about.
What about simply making people read reviews? And mention a game's strong points and fl...
I'm quite sure, had it not "Rockstar Games" on the cover, reviewers would be much, much more harsh with it. And so would the general consensus.
Damned sheeple, I tell you.
...And shit all over it with mind-numbing repetition.
Don't get me wrong, I like the game, but holy hell if it doesn't drag out in some of the worst ways imaginable. Same with Red Dead Redemption, too.
No, not really, they get paid in the thousands for one day of work.
I do wonder what's the driving force behind rabidly fanatic comments like these.
However, you ARE aware the structure of an RPG is very different to that of an action game, right?
It is, basically, what allows a standard RPG to be 30 hours long in average, whereas a third person shooter clocks that at 10.
Hell yeah, I'm ready for the best comedy show of the year.
