I actually prefer the variations in the single player mode for NFS. Yeah, the pursuits are really fun on both sides of the law, but having the ability to mix up the gameplay keeps everything feeling pretty fresh. And if you're sticking to single player the whole time, you're actually missing out on a huge portion of the game. Even the single player mode has a multi player feel to it thanks to Autolog. I'll often find myself replaying a race in order to stay in first place agai...

Where the hell, outside of Black Friday sales, do you find Need For Speed for $30? Given the popularity of Burnout Paradise, it's obvious that there is a large market for arcade racing games, and Hot Pursuit is easily the best arcade racer this year, if not this generation. EA isn't stupid enough to toss the game into the bargain bin less than a month after its release.

Not *all* DLC, but yes, the vast majority of it. Red Dead Redemptions Undead Nightmare is a perfect example of what I would consider acceptable DLC. It was added content that brought a completely new experience to the game. "Day 1 DLC", on the other hand, is completely bogus, and is an obvious way to swindle more money from the consumer. It's paramount to a hostage situation. "Hey, you know that game you just bought? Well, we've got part of it right here, and if y...

Actually his comment is very spot on. The whole urbanite, hip-hop, ebonics spin on the american accent is more of a recent trend. Granted, a good deal of the diversion in enunciation started in the late 60s and early 70s, but it was more of the "jive talking" style of speech that became pretty wide spread towards the end of the 70s. Back then nobody "axed" anybody a question.

While I would never hold my breath for him to win an Academy Award anytime soon, I would never call any of his roles forgettable or horrible in any way. In Avatar I think all of the performances kind of take a back seat to the visuals. Terminator and Titans, while being acceptable as pure action movies, fell flat mostly due to crappy writing. I for one like Sam Worthington as an actor, and I look forward to seeing what else he'll do in his career.

I'd strongly urge you to go back and look again. While there are a few pics where the AA looks slightly better on the 360, the color pallet is much more defined on the PS3. At first I didn't care for the color of the road in the first few screens, but then I looked at the background and realized just how dull everything is on the 360. The colors on the PS3 seems to pop a lot more, and the lighting overall seems a bit better.

In the end this game is going to come ...

"Don't you get it toaster?

Nobody who lives at home with their mommy and daddy and are too young to get a job and afford a decent computer cares about gaming on the PC anymore."

There, fixed that for you.

The Elder Scrolls games don't really lend themselves to multi-player. The whole point of these games is that you are a rare hero chosen for some great purpose. Having other people involved kind of steals your thunder.

I don't see why people can't have and enjoy all gaming platforms (aside from the obvious money issue). I have an awesome gaming rig which I do minor upgrades on once a year to keep everything in top performance. I also have a PS3, 360, Wii, DS, and PSP. I use my PC primarily for shooters (1st and 3rd person) since I grew up using a keyboard and mouse. I find it a million times more precise than using an analog stick on a controller. Certain 3rd person games, like the GTA series, ...

Highlander, C&C Tiberium, Black Mesa Source (OK, so BM:S isn't vaporware, but their "2010" release date is coming to a close pretty quick).

It's a Need For Speed game. Historically, November belongs to Need For Speed. Now GT5 on the other hand, that I'd be ok with coming out in September. But as it is, Need For Speed is commonly released right around the 17th, which is my birthday, so I can always count on having a new NFS to play. Sadly, ever since Most Wanted the quality of the games have been lackluster at best (Shift) to down right horrible (Undercover). I have faith in this one, though. Even if I won't have...

From a business standpoint, word of mouth is the best advertising you could ever have. Publishers spend millions of dollars per game to advertise and get the word out about that game. Even then they rely heavily on word of mouth advertising. Let's say you see an ad for a new game and you're really excited about it and the following day you talk to your friend about it. He's never heard of the game, but because you mentioned it now he's heard of it. Because you were intere...

That "broke ass web browser" works fine for me. Can't say I care about LastFM, but Pandora works great. Facebook would be fine if I cared to get on facebook from my console. Seeing how I actually own a PC worth doing things on it kind of negates my need to rely on a console for most things, but the things I do rely on it for work pretty well.

Microsoft has founded their empire on the principle that they are in it for themselves first and foremost. While this isn't an entirely bad point of view to have from a business stand point, it's bad to refuse to ever offer things to your customers for the sake of your customers.

Valve bases their success on the reputation they build with their customers. That's why they offer so much post release support for their games. They know that every time they do som...

That bubble vent actually serves 2 purposes. First it provides the feel of an actual fish tank, which is awesome. But it also forces the oil to move, keeping heat from building up over the components.

This is an actual working unit. The first time I ever saw this done was on Tom's Hardware several years ago. They actually submerged a very old system (I think it was a Pentium I system) and overclocked it to match the performance of a Pentium III. They actually used ...

Actually, if you pay attention, it's just meant as a media PC. Meaning he uses it as a storage hub and media player for his TV. Before getting a PS3 I used to have one. We connected it to the TV using HDMI and ran audio straight to the home theater receiver. Now I just have a media server in my dining room with 5TB of hard drive space.

Call centers FTW! I don't even work graveyard, and I spend a good 60% of my day reading or screwing around on my laptop. Unfortunately we're not allowed to bring in handhelds to work. Not that that stops me from doing so, just get in trouble if a manager happens to be walking by and sees it out. That's why I wait until after 6pm for them to go home.

No, not "Crap 3rd person shooter with lousy driving" MMO. A GTA MMO. Believe it or not there is a difference.
