Tried it out and wow, it's pretty cool stuff. Guess I won't have to go out and buy any overpriced 7.1 headsets now, lol. :p
Like I said, most of those are games that are single-threaded, some are dual-threaded. Lol @ listing GTA4, a well-known HORRIBLE port job.
Not sure why you decided to list an AMD CPU that's over three years old as well. See how it works? Pretty sure the game would still be more than playable as well. Vishera would handle all those games just fine (proof of this is readily available on YouTube).
But of course, believe what you read all the time. If you P...
Gonna download this and give it a go... Pretty cool that it's free software.
I'm honestly not that miffed about this at all. I'd rather they focus on Tekken 7, and focus on actually changing things up instead of just extending the length of the combos by another ten seconds.
Yeah they won't respond, just like how they didn't respond with pure butthurt when everyone was talking about how Sony and MS didn't choose them for their graphics in the consoles...
OH WAIT.
Haha, name me some then? I can name you something like Starcraft 2, specifically multiplayer battles, which has shown that Intel's higher IPC is better-suited for crazy matches like that.
I'm not sure why I'm getting disagrees, but to say there are "plenty" of games that are more dependent on the CPU over the GPU is just nonsense.
Intel CPU's aren't necessary at all for gaming, lol. There are dudes with the mediocre Zambezi chips who are maxing out games to this day. Why? Because games aren't CPU-bound, and they haven't been for ages. The only games where you'll see a big performance difference between AMD v. Intel is when they're single-threaded and the game relies heavily on the CPU for whatever reason (like Planetside 2).
Only reason to buy Nvidia is if you want Physx, but Physx is kind of a joke. I bought Nvidia cards exclusively up until 2012. AMD is cheaper and offers the same, sometimes even better performance.
Saw the commercial yesterday, talk about AMD trolling hardcore, lol. They just don't even care anymore.
It seems that Kojima just trolls harder as the years go by. I just tend to ignore him now and enjoy the games (btw, still no ZOE 3 FTL)
That's because A.I. isn't something that's incredibly difficult to implement over the network. The Forza devs are doing something similar with the ghost racers you'll be able to race, and that's a single-player game. Things like light-physics calculations, weather effects, AI, these aren't that CPU-intensive and they have been tasks that were traditionally offloaded to the CPU for ages now.
The problem with people hyping up the cloud is that they thin...
Yes, logically speaking, your CPU is good and your GPU is really nice, so you should be able to run the final game just fine. Hell, just wait til the MP beta eventually comes out, performance will be vastly improved over this version as well.
Thanks for that link, some really mind-blowing stuff in there. And one of those guys was right, MS is selling their box for $100 more, when it'll have roughly half the performance, yet people will still buy the X1 in droves. It's silly, really.
Those screens are not impressive because Ryse is not a game that is visually and technically impressive.
I can still see some jaggies on the armor in the first shot, and the textures aren't anything special. It looks like a 10~15% increase in visual fidelity over the X360.
Look at this shit: http://image.gamespotcdn.ne...

PS4 is stronger than the Xbone, it's not an opinion, it's an outright fact.
PS4 has much faster memory (GDDR5 unified RAM vs slower DDR3 RAM) and a more powerful GPU. The PS4's graphics solution is just under 2 Tflops @ 1.84 Tflops, whereas the X1 is around 1.2Tflops, and was rumored to have been downclocked on the CPU front as well.

Haha, that cloud stuff is pure nonsense. You won't be able to magically enhance ...
People should wait until the game is out before they get ready to buy new hardware for it. As was said in the article, this is a very early version of the game, and current performance is in no way indicative of the performance of the final gold game. It was similar when BF3 was coming out, they even had graphs showing the performance, but as it turned out, even some budget cards could run the game just fine on High.
BF4 doesn't look mind-blowingly better, so I doubt the...
I would, but the link was removed from existence because someone made a Gaben fat joke again.
GTA and SR are completely different now. The only SR you can compare to GTA is SR1, because even though it was still a good game, it was kind of a GTA clone (albeit one done right). SR2 was when the series had its own identity. I enjoyed SR2 much more than GTA IV.
Sadly SR3 just took the series into the gutter, but ironically it sold more. Oh well...
It's 2013
HL2: EP2 came out in 2007.
2013-2007 = 6
6/2 (HL2) = 3
HL3 (EP3) CONFIRMED.
In terms of cosplay, this is a gender-bent cosplay done right. It's too bad that I don't really care about the new Dante style (I thought the old Dante as well as Virgil designs were much better), so I'm not exactly gonna rave about this.
I never saw the real necessity in them. We're humans and we only have two ears, so I don't see how companies get away with making such a big deal about this stuff. I've tried several of these headsets before, and these drivers basically sound just like them.
