It wasn't really "innocent" when you take into account how a bunch of idiots think asking the same question 9 billion times is gonna change anything.
And I don't see how he needs to be "professional" when it's his personal twitter. He's a human too, he doesn't need to act like a robot 24/7 just because he's a game dev.
The old one is a good game, but don't even kid yourself that the story wasn't a convoluted mess. It made almost no sense, and the endings were in the exact same format as HR's endings -- they were all laid out right in front of you, and I'd say they were worse than HR's as well. Completely random deus ex machina endings.
Invisible War, however, isn't better than HR or Deus Ex.
Multiplayer would be great if done correctly. Cops vs. Runners? Or how about some type of CTF mode where the only weapons you have are short-range/melee weapons? Think about that section where Faith had to escape the anti-Runner squad who were basically runners themselves.
Apparently some friends of his has noticed he's still alive, he's been logging into Steam at least once a day since he's been reported missing. And he was last seen in person at AM2 (Virtua Fighter) studios as well... WHAT IS THIS MAN DOING, LOL??
I'm not wearing any nostalgia goggles. Without the co-op, RE5 and 6 were mediocre games to me. It has nothing to do with "zomg derez noh horror"
The beta versions of RE4 and 5 looked much better than the final products in every way. The devs even admitted that they tried to make RE6 more like CoD just to appeal to a larger crowd (and it worked, game sold a bazillion copies).
Lol who did this hoax? Who in their right mind would be "excited" about a new RE game after the last few games...
Hope he's okay. Sounds pretty serious. Never heard of him having any meltdowns before.
I prefer using a baseball bat. <3
Haha thank you, I never understood why he was so popular. I listened to some of his tracks back in the day *trying* to like it, but it's really just a bunch of rubbish. Don't even like the beats.
Nah, I wouldn't say it's renowned for it now. Back when GTA Vice City came out, it was a big deal, but ever since then just about everyone has been doing it. It's nothing special now.
Exactly. I've been waiting on a sequel ever since the first one came out, I've still got the game -- it's one of the few that I didn't sell off at gamestop -- but EA could easily screw this game up. Hope DICE doesn't annihilate the game. More free-running moments where we can build up and speed and move quickly, less lame in-door puzzle segments that slow everything down.
Even when it was Overstrike, next to no one was talking about the game. It was just "there". Even if the game kept the Overstrike style, it most likely would've still bombed. It wasn't until after they changed it to Fuse that people went back and suddenly started talking about how Overstrike was better, even though it was just one pre-rendered trailer and some CGI concept art, lol.
It'd be awesome being able to use my real Strat on this game.
Not gonna happen. It's vaporware, they haven't even released the HD versions of Shenmue 1 & 2 yet.
I don't have any experience with that phone, but I know that some phones add crap like that automatically.
That said, yeah it is pretty annoying lol.
Casual, hardcore, mainstream, who really cares? At the end of the day, if you're a gamer, you're a gamer.
It's not just some random resurgence, dunno where you got that from. The first game was flawed, yeah, but every game is flawed. I got it right after it came out and I, as well as many others were waiting on a sequel ever since then. In fact, we thought it'd definitely get one in at least two years' time, but clearly DICE/EA decided to just make 50 more Battlefield games (BC2, BC2 Vietnam expansion, BF Heroes, BF Play4Free, BF3, BF3 expansions, now BF4...) and ME2 got left on the b...
DRM isn't even that big of a deal on consoles, unlike PC. On PC, either you go with Steam, or you do something completely retarded (like Ubisoft). Ubisoft learned the hard way that it's not the right approach to use.
I've seen no evidence of developers (you must mean publishers) championing the cause of DRM. It gives them next to no benefit. The money that Microsoft would gain from forcing people to pay money to play a "used" game, do you honestly think...
So sick of this guy, all he does is talk up a storm and then just releases a mediocre product, lol.
It had a cult following, but it wasn't popular enough to have a sequel created to TS: Future Perfect. The creators have said multiple times that Future Perfect didn't sell well enough despite getting critical praise, and in today's CoD-obsessed market, the game wouldn't be able to thrive (which is true).
