Dude, get some perspective. I agree actually in a way, that a lot of indie games aren't worth my time. You know, most of the 2D ones which just take one already-overdone concept and just replace the sprites and call it a day... But some are good.
And a good deal of indie games are 3D as well. Like this guy above me just mentioned, Amnesia was an indie game and it was one of the best survival horror games I've ever played.

So far the OS looks good, and since there's a lot of super-fast system memory available, there shouldn't be anymore of those annoying hang-ups and loads like on the PS3's XMB. Especially the new PS Store. I liked the old PS Store just fine, though I see why they changed it -- it looks similar to the PS4's GUI. It was much faster when it was just an internal app rather than a separate one you had to download and launch.

There weren't a crazy number of FPS games released this gen, at least not as people made it out to be. Compared to other genres, they're mostly equal in terms of games created.

Gran Duty: The Real Dog Simulator
PD had a lot of planned projects that most people don't know about. I remember how they were gonna make a GT game for kids, called something like "Gran Turismo For Boys" or something like that, and it was real. It was basically to try to get youngins' into cars.
There was also a PC version of GT planned back in the mid-00's, dunno what happened to that. My guess is Sony decided to keep GT a purely PlayStation franchise.
Yeah that line of thinking works until you realize not everyone thinks like you do. Maybe people liked the series because they liked the way things were handled in SR1 & 2. Thus when SR3 came out, people were obviously disappointed.
Just because someone doesn't like something, doesn't mean they're not allowed to voice their displeasure over it, and it doesn't mean they're unable to "accept change" either.

Saints Row is pretty much trash now, SR2 was where the series peaked and I doubt they'll make any more like that. Saints Row 2 had an excellently-written story, with great characters, and it had the right mix of realism and craziness. SR3 decided to scratch all that and just turn the batshit-insanity meter up to 11, which was fun and amusing at first, but got old quickly.

Yep, I started with DW3 back in 2002, it was awesome. Got DW4 at release, then got DW5. Got DW6, hated it, then took a break for a while. Came back when Warriors Orochi 3 came out, and ended up playing that for like 70 hours total lol. The recent games have made a lot of improvements to the gameplay.
The games aren't revolutionary, but hardly any games are nowadays. The games are fun, and that's what matters the most.

Agreed. I played the first one and Warhead. Warhead was somewhat entertaining, but it got old about halfway through. 2 & 3 weren't even worth buying to me. You can tell most of the work goes into working on the tech rather than the gameplay or anything.
What could they even do, though? Going by the best ending of X-2, the ending was pretty happy and there was no indication of any future threat. I mean, some lame-ass group could pop up trying to do some weird ritual that was never mentioned or something, but it'd be so lame.
X is still my favorite FF title, but I wouldn't want them to needlessly make a third one and end up ruining the pre-existing story.

Well every game at the Sony booth was running in real-time, and since Knack was the only game to crash, I guess logically one could deduce it was the game's fault, not the hardware. It's obviously not the final version of the game's code, so it was just an unfortunate coincidence.
I'd buy the "Kaz Hirai" expansion pack as well. Worth every penny.
