No way. Sony still has several exclusives for the PS3, several of which they announced at E3. People would buy a PS3 for the already-huge pre-existing library as well as the newer exclusives which are still getting created. They're even still making new bundles, like how there will be a GTA V PS3 Bundle available the day the game launches.
PS3 still has a lot of life left in it yet.

No one has any excuses. HDTV's are dirt cheap now. I bought a 32" Vizio for $208 a couple months ago, if you're gonna buy a $399 PS4, you should be able to get an HDTV as well.

HD 8000 series is merely just a rebrand for OEM's. The next actual architecture (Volcanic Islands) will be HD 9000.
As for consoles being obsolete, lolno. In terms of horsepower, duh, but I don't even know why people even bother saying such ridiculously obvious things. I never bought consoles for graphics, I got them for exclusives, playing games with my friends in the same room as I, and convenience.
