The inconsistency in who has what options available to them is wild. I think the announcement was that they were ditching the £5 option and leaving the £10 option but the reality is all over the shop. Why.
Anything Ubisoft produces I assume is going to be generic and tired, they've brought it on themselves. Everything pointed to this game being genuinely good and it's a genre I love but I didn't buy it because I see Ubisoft and it kills my interest.
Disappointing for Sony no doubt but did anyone else care? Personally I was pleased it flopped so hard.
Not bad going really if those are the most disappointing exclusives in a long history. Most of the biggest name games mentioned are actually fine.
That seems unnecessarily cheap of them.
You're on very solid ground there slating Sony for paying for exclusivity. Xbox would never stoop so low.
What a clown you are.
You're boring. If it's paid PR work you need to sharpen up.
I think most fans of the series would want fiddly character sheets as an option. Shame they're distancing themselves from that kind of RPG staple. Probably can't be bothered to try and cope with the levels of complexity it raises.
I don't mind young Bond at all, catch him at the start of his career. Why not. I just hope they make it fun and lean into the classic tropes.
I know what you mean, but I wouldn't be opposed to seeing her play a slightly more mature version of the character. She's only 42 so still fine for all the action scenes.
It's not news to anyone but they desperately need to bite the bullet and switch to a new engine. You can't keep on frantically polishing the same turd when the rest of the world moved on to much better things long ago. It's wild that they insist on doing so.
Citizencon is a bit on the nose isn't it?
An open world game that didn't use the scope of the world to pad it out with typical filler, but used it as an epic background for a focused storyline would be interesting and refreshing.
It's not like they haven't tried, they had a couple of cracks at it and it didn't work for them. It's a massive financial commitment creating games for a one off device, especially considering they already do it for PSVR.
No doubt there's room for improvement in future Portals but it's a solid product that sold great, and obviously being able to tap into cutting edge console tech on a handheld is a big selling point.
If the new protagonist was a bloke I doubt there'd have been a ripple of complaint or people pining after Jin Sakai. However I understand the complaints and to an extent agree with them in a general sense.
Having watched Blue Eye Samurai though there's definitely a legitimate case to be made for a badass female samurai being a great main character.
"You're right how dare Xbox advertise video games on their video game console. Why's that a bad thing please explain."
A: people have been enjoying gaming for decades without adverts and we are all used to that.
B: Everyone hates ads.
C: It's an extremely slippery slope. If people start making excuses for and suggest they're willing to accept advertising in gaming then that will be exploited to ridiculous level...
I suppose it was the future of PS in that it showed them what not to do.
Spending the money on a SP game instead would have been a better choice is something of an understatement.
Not a scam but a massive waste of time and money.
Definitely been too much of that kind of thing. Feels like there's been a lot of resting on laurels and not much interest in pushing forward.
Agreed, by their standards this has been a wasted generation. I'm a big PS fan but I haven't bothered buying a PS5 because there's nothing exciting about it. Remasters, cross gen, GaaS, massive lack of must play SP bangers.
They've lost their way this gen and if they carry that onto PS6 they'll be in trouble.
