Good point. In addition an indie is just as capable of scoring a 9/10 as a new Uncharted. Focusing on quality doesn't mean committing to boring safe choices it just means you want quality products associated with the brand.
Not enough genres covered.
I hope Deadly Premonition 2 comes to PS, basically Twin Peaks The Game.
Seems cool, similar to The Witness which I liked but with more puzzle variety. The blue skies, lush greenery and slow pace can make a nice break depending what else you're playing.
I was walking the dog today and it was snowing a little bit while we walked under blossom trees. Pretty surreal.
I'm a fan of games with hand drawn art and this takes it to the next level. Hats off to them.
I'm perfectly happy getting my blockbusters from Sony and my 'risky' indies elsewhere. There are too many good ones to even get through. Works fine for me.
It's either going to be amazing or total crap, there's no in between for this one.
Dead Cells was a roguelike that I wasn't that keen on from watching footage, but when I got stuck into the gameplay loop it was a lot of fun and very addictive despite being pretty much wall to wall action.
If this can give you something similar to hook you in and provide plenty of depth beyond the surface razzle dazzle then it'll potentially be really good. Remains to be seen on that front.
R&C certainly shows the possibilities. The ability to load complicated stuff (you can tell I know what I'm talking about) near instantly is exciting. Someone like ND with a game like Uncharted could do some crazy stuff with that tech.
I wouldn't mind if the best SSX games got this treatment.
Does anyone else have an issue when they look at a game on the store and the trailer buffers horrendously to the point it's unusable? I assume it's my ancient PS4 thinking about retiring but it wasn't that long ago it played them fine.
Yeah I'm going to wait for the proper PS5 version. If that takes three years that's fine by me. It should be in a pretty good state by then.
I wonder who they'll pick for the cover star, Morikawa maybe.
I like it. Little bit rough and ready and it needs a lot of polishing but it looks fun. The enemy designs are cool, I like the look of the weapons and dismemberment is always a bonus. Gameplay looks decent using the dodge move.
I wonder how many years in the future it'll be before the most powerful console claim is quietly dropped. This just reads like Xbox propaganda, seen quite a bit of it on here recently.
Still can't believe FF7 was 'free' with PS+, I don't expect to see games of that calibre so soon.
Nice job in a way, good craftsmanship. He knows he can't use it though right.
I'm more interested in remakes than old games in their original state. As far as I'm concerned 2D games have barely aged since the SNES and I still want to play them, but I've got very little interest in revisiting 3D games from the PS3 era and earlier.
Pretty good timing with the last film only coming out twenty years ago.
Same here. I think it will, didn't get the impression it was off the table more a matter of time.
