Yeah it's weird to me why there aren't more dinosaur games, a lot of them are inherently terrifying, and there's loads of variety. I'd be more scared knowing I was being hunted by a raptor than a bunch of shuffling zombies.
I liked the robot dinosaurs in Horizon but the real thing is better imo.
I had a great time with Wreckfest, even if you took out all the destruction derby stuff it's still a really fun and satisfying racer.
No idea what the concept is beyond shooting blokes in sweaters with a shotgun, but it looks good so far.
Gris is a good game. Absolutely amazing art style, one of the best looking games I've ever played, with a great soundtrack, but a clever puzzle platformer too.
Difference between Mario Kart and Gran Turismo basically, both good games but for different reasons. The old TW games were a lot of fun, working the spin and boost to pull some ridiculous shots off.
I'm not expecting it to be amazing review wise but I do like the look of it a lot.
Fair enough, never used it once myself and if I'm relatively typical they probably weren't doing great numbers.
I like the idea of a 2D Metroidvania with this kind of measured combat.
We'll probably have to wait for what Naughty Dog makes at the back end of the generation for that, but it does look good.
Doesn't do any harm if you can have fun and learn a bit at the same time. Nobody wants a history lesson stuffed down your throat in a game but if you can have a quality and realistic game set in a particular time in history I think it adds a certain something.
I found it fascinating in AC Odyssey soaking up the atmosphere of Ancient Greece and if it was inaccurate it wouldn't have been the same. Stuff like the Minotaur and Cyclops were separate to the realistic depi...
Looks ok. Painfully generic and unoriginal but solid and competent.
Looks a bit like Vanquish. It looks like fun.
Best PS+ month ever I'd say. Made my eyebrows shoot up in surprise.
So it's Yoofy not Yuffy, learn something new every day.
Wow, Harry Styles AND Cardi B? Does it get any better.
Totally agree. All the alien conspiracy stuff bored me in the X-Files and I was a big fan of the show. I've rewatched it a couple of times over the years and always skip those episodes.
As for AC I've only played Odyssey but found the modern day bits boring, baffling (partly my fault for not knowing the prior story I know) and damaging to both immersion and the plot. I was much happier before I found out everything was a simulation. If the lore also meant they were...
I still get a kick out of seeing them transform into abominations so if she does that's alright by me.
I'm not sure she will though if she's a vampire, maybe there'll be a transformation but she'll be a bigger and scarier version of herself instead of a blobby mess.
No doubt online will be a big part of GTA6, but even if it was the main focus they'd still need the SP story to add context to it. They'll need established characters and world building to link up with the online part or it'd all be a bit flat.
I felt like Odyssey's locations did feel different considering it took place in the same country at the same time in history. If it was any more different it would have been historically inaccurate and that would have been a shame
Looks promising. I liked how she was actually scared of the dragon, all too often the protagonist sees the craziest stuff happen and barely seems to care.
