That's a sad attitude. They didn't make the game for people like you.
That's one year when Xbox edged it, is it like that every year?
This is my view too. The door is also open to putting the occasional big first party game on there on release day should they choose to in the future.
I'm guessing not, just on the basis that they haven't shown any and they probably would have by now. Looks cool either way.
It is misleading because it implies a relatively critical viewpoint whereas it's actually nothing but praise for the game, while acknowledging the tough but fair difficulty.
I'm not sure if you read the article or not.
Enjoyable article. The word frustrating up there is misleading because the writer absolutely loves the game.
It seems to have taken a step away from Dead Space and one towards something like Destiny since I last saw it, which I'm not sure about.
However I don't think it looks like trash, it looks like a solid game with good graphics. Teamkill Media never claimed to be Naughty Dog they're just a small team with presumably a budget to match.
@Ted
Were you this outraged when MS tried to increase Gamepass subscription prices? Odd how they tried that when it's such a successful service as it is.
You could almost say they got cocky and tried to fleece their fanbase.
Well, we'll see. Personally I expect Sony to go from strength to strength (and Nintendo to maintain the status quo) and continue to keep MS under their thumb.
Mine was the exploding red barrels, if there was one game that didn't need that ancient cliché it was this.
Looks great though, I was impressed.
I'll agree that Rockstar has been taking the p*ss. Great for them that they're making a ridiculous amount of money but it might be nice for consumers to play a new GTA more than once every ten years.
I'm not into the edgelady cheesy stuff but that aside it looks a lot of fun gameplay wise. If you took the mechanics of this game and put them into something more on the gritty side it'd be a winner for me.
Gareth I appreciate the Everyman aspect to your videos but why not wait until you've got the hang of a game before posting gameplay footage. I didn't watch until the end but I don't think you braked for a single corner.
Watched it again and the brake light does flash on occasionally but not very often when it would be useful. When the racing line turns red braking is no longer optional if you want to stay on the track.
Man this game is going to crash and burn. If they could have delivered what was suggested by the first trailer, a take on Dark Souls with fast paced combat we could have had a winner. Instead it's a mess you could see coming a mile off.
I don't know who made them but there were some poor decisions made.
I was hoping that praying mantis lady was the tip of the freakish iceberg, but the others weren't actually that bad.
Really enjoyed the read thanks for that. I play every Souls game like a tortoise, I find the heaviest armour and the biggest shield and hide behind them, it's not very exciting or brave but it does work.
That's awesome congratulations to Miyazaki and co. I love how a game (game series arguably) as singular as this can have mass appeal because of how much genius there is involved.
Over a year later it's managed to become the genre it was supposed to be from the start? Slow hand clap.
Without wanting to give anything away, while making tentative forays into the areas around where you begin, with my basic starter gear, I suddenly found myself very far from 'home'. I could almost hear Miyazaki chuckling.
I could have fast traveled back but I chose to go back on foot and the journey back was one of the most memorable and intense experiences I've ever had in gaming. All thanks to the open world setting.
