"I've said for years they need to up their game - Zenimax and Activision should be the answer to that. "
That's not upping their game it's just spending more, not the same thing. I'm not sure they know what upping their game means so it makes sense that you don't either.
I'm dubious that the deal will go through but let's wait and see.
So you agree that Microsoft are pretty bad at the whole gaming thing, fair play.
"They were. Just because you're #2 doesn't mean you're anywhere close to #1.
You can be 2nd in the World Cup and still be a mile off the performance of the team that wins it."
Sounds like Microsoft, although they'd be third not second.
I think this was the one dungeon I didn't get to.
@MadLad
Agreed there's no need for wishing harm on people but if there's anyone here taking video games far too seriously it's Orchard. He's basically dedicated his life to doing unpaid PR work for Microsoft, god knows what other sites he does the same thing on.
Been patiently waiting for this one looks like a quality Metroidvania. I really like the art style.
If Christmas wishes are being granted the other game I'm waiting for is Deadly Premonition 2 on PS.
Don't concern yourself with it Orchard. You haven't played the demo and you won't be playing the game either. It's none of your business.
Stick to Halo.
Yeah more variety would be nice given the amount of time dedicated players spend on it. They could stick with the four level system but for each level there are two possible environments with their own bosses. Double the variety while keeping the game the same length.
I wouldn't change a lot else though the first game was great fun to play with excellent progression.
Looks pretty good seems to have a lot more character and individuality than the first game. Some cool design work in there.
Looks like more of the same with a few bells and whistles added which sounds like a criticism but is exactly what I wanted from a sequel. The first game was great.
Everyone knows that if Elden Ring was up against a Microsoft game you'd have been saying the opposite.
Wow, that's great news. Can't wait to become obsessed with a brand new Hades. One of my favourite games from the last decade.
Yeah there were times that it made me feel like it was the first game I'd ever played with the "awe of discovering things" as you say. Fantastic game.
I'd guess that the GRRM connection in the advertising helped shift units and I think Miyazaki knows that. I'm not convinced they got him on board for any other reason but I could well be wrong.
It looks like the last NFS game I played on PS4 but with crappier graphics so I'm not sold on this explanation.
It's a daft criticism really. There's a bit more to GoW than a hardcore focus on the story. Exploration, side quests, world building. These are all vital parts of a quality game.
Knew before I saw it there was no chance they'd give Ragnarok more than a 7, predictable.
Mature themes never a problem for me.
This sounds like straight up nonsense.
Correct me if I'm wrong and I may well be, but is it not always the case that games originally developed for older consoles don't run so well on the PS5 compared to Xbox but games developed for current gen perform either on a par or better?
