"We’ve run into some technical issues in developing the Xbox port that have stopped us feeling 100% confident in announcing it until we’re certain we’ve found the right solutions – specifically, we’ve been unable to get split-screen co-op to work to the same standard on both Xbox Series X and S, which is a requirement for us to ship."
X or S is the problem, take your pick.
It's a good lineup. Would you recommend Code Vein? Reviewed well enough but it didn't capture my imagination much.
If there's one thing for sure it's that whatever Orchard is stating as fact will turn out to be wrong. Poor guy's got a horrible track record.
You're wasting your time spamming your hate for PSVR2 over and over again in article after article. It isn't going to have any effect beyond making people dislike you more, if that's possible.
"Used to be a time these comparisons were up several times a week. Not so much since xbox started winning most head to heads"
Right so when Xbox wins the head to head it's hushed up and there's no article, it's still a fact it happened though. You guys are funny.
It's a real shame that the core of the game is great but there are lots of avoidable minor issues that spoil it. An obnoxious main character is one of them, I thought it would have been too classy for that but apparently not.
All new innovative tech starts off niche and sells to a small market. Then it grows. Whether a company has the vision to buy into it early on is up to them, Sony has and I don't know why you're so upset about it. Can you not move on seeing as you've no interest in it?
You would have been the guy back in the day who saw a tv set for the first time and said it'd never catch on.
Good advice. It's a testament to what a big deal VR is that we need guidance on how to physically deal with it.
You're putting a lot of eggs in the Starfield basket, prematurely calling it a masterpiece and a GOTY (which year?) contender. I think you should prepare for disappointment, it looks ok to good at best.
I've said for a long time that VR is the future of home entertainment and PSVR2 looks to be a huge step towards that happening. Seems like Sony nailed it.
These things happen.
I think Sony has the right idea. Sell a new game for retail price and after a year or so add it to PS+. That way your games sell and so does your subscription service.
Wasn't there already droid and animal dismemberment in the first game?
You've lost me. I'll try once more to clarify. In the text of the review the reviewer twice incorrectly spells it as 'Scottland' and I made reference to it.
Hope you understand now.
That sounds fantastic even for a VR veteran so for a newbie (like me) it'll probably blow your mind. GT7 with the full setup is about as good as gaming gets.
Enjoy mate.
If it was a total failure there wouldn't be a VR2. As far as I can tell from available info it was a modest success and imo built a foundation for greater successes in the very near future.
Don't agree with your viewpoints on the medium at all, Japanese visual novels in VR would be the last thing I'd consider a good use of it.
I know what Scotland is mate, Scottland is how it's spelled in the review. Seemed an odd one to get wrong.
I've been surprised by how much reviewers have waffled on about Rowling and what she says on Twitter, as though it's of relevance to this game. It isn't, at all. I think some people have even knocked points off because of it which is laughable.
Incidentally wtf is Scottland?
Orchard's got a lot of PR work to do.
Well said and 100% accurate.
