Exactly right, some indies strike gold and some don't. It depends on quality same as it does for big budget games.
Just off the top of my head Hollow Knight, Dead Cells and Hades were all new IP indie games which smashed it because they were great. I don't think Concrete Genie was ever in that league.
Obviously not, no.
I'm not seeing anything close to a good reason to link FF and Souls games in this article.
Personally I would like a more measured, slower paced tactical combat system in a modern FF, similar to what Souls games provide, but if anything they're moving further away from that not closer.
In terms of difficulty FF is just right imo. Decent challenge throughout the story but with optional bosses who will push you to the absolute max if you dare seek...
My friend owns an Xbox and he said he only used it once.
"Get your f-ing fingers out of my dirty ass!"
Great line to end the trailer on.
I think the healthiest way is to focus on a small handful of games. If you've got 10+ games on the go I'd have to question if you're that bothered about any of them. Concentrate on a selection of quality games, get the most out of them then delete and replace and you'll have no issues with storage.
Bit of a silly question.
I doubt they will retain the money to spend on Xbox. The way I understand it is that it's like a dad lending his son a large sum of money to buy a house. If the deal falls through he's not going to let him keep the money to spend on whatever he feels like, he'll want it back.
Not to mention that the dad will be stuck with huge bills even though the deal didn't go through:
"As a reminder, Microsoft will owe Activision Blizzard $3 bil...
Ouch. That's going to be a nasty surprise for a lot of people.
Absolute nonsense until the system sales figures are known.
Some games have good incentives for multiple playthroughs but you can never beat experiencing it for the first time. Caelid for the first time? Mindblowing. Second time around it's just Caelid again.
Hell yeah the world they dreamt up was amazing and unique. I loved it. Probably the most metal game I've ever played.
More of the same with tighter controls is all I want. The platforming in the trailer looks tough so I'm guessing they're confident with the controls. Think the blocking is new, I remember parries but not blocking.
Another ten years at least I reckon. Could be a lot more.
Want, not need. They aren't in any trouble.
I know how it feels to be a bit obsessed with the character creation stage but for me it's always been so I can start the game contentedly, not because I'd rather tweak nostril sizes and eyebrow height for hundreds of hours instead of playing the game.
I just remember standing still and spamming the spear attacks, got lucky probably.
The toughest one for me was Alecto at the Evergaol, quick aggressive bosses are my kryptonite and with no help from my mimic tear I had to man up and fight her properly. Took a long time had to level up some more and go back later.
Yeah that was a bad one for it. I was either running after them or standing under them blindly swinging at their legs unable to see what they were up to. Cool boss visually and lore wise but not a great fight.
The only ones I didn't like so much were the ones that had a big build up and were disappointingly easy, like Rykard using that spear and Radogan. Might have been over levelled by that point.
Also any boss in a massive arena that keeps on vanishing and makes you spend the fight chasing after it.
True enough. Maybe that was the idea, if there was such a thing as a Jedi Everyman it might look something like him.
I've heard of Project Awakening which did indeed look amazing graphically but it's been about five years since it was last seen. Not promising.
I also know Quantum Error but I wouldn't have said it was known for its mind blowing graphics. The rest no idea whatsoever.
