It does make sense. Playing and conquering a From game is an experience from start to finish and having easier (or more difficult) settings would dilute that. It's good that you can talk about Ornstein and Smough and instantly everyone knows exactly what you mean because you all shared it.

I don't get any sense whatsoever from what he says what it is about Anthem that makes it the game he always wanted to make. It's just corporate chat and I don't believe him.

I didn't, TW3 is the only CDPR game I've played and it took me hours to warm to the grumpy sod. By the end of the game though I was as fond of him as any other character from any other game I can think of.

Great writing and acting and I doubt they've forgotten how to do that between TW3 and Cyberpunk.

"Perhaps I just need more time to warm to Cyberpunk’s world"

That's probably it, I can imagine it being off putting meeting characters in the game who seem to do nothing but swear their heads off but if I know CDPR then by the time you're halfway through the game you'll love these characters like they're family.

Yeah I've often thought about vehicles in Fallout games but they'd have to be slow or traveling around would be too easy and the map would feel small. A slow and steady pace suits an RPG imho.

Yeah if only it had flying cars like TW3 did.

I never thought we would tbh. Fallout wouldn't have been the same if you could jump in a flying car and zip about the map. Don't forget it's an RPG first and foremost not a reskinned GTA.

Hit the nail on the head there.

Well it's good news at least that it handles well.

I'm offen ded when I play Dark Souls.

Pretty sure it's going to go the way of Blockbuster. It's a shame because I've picked up some great games, like Oblivion, that I was clueless about and got on advice but these days the internet conquers all.

I think the console wars are pathetic and I don't care what lump of plastic people play their games on. I just think Sony are right to do what they are doing from a business standpoint.

@fdkenzo that's odd because it says "game engine footage" at the start of the trailer.

2915d ago 4 agree0 disagreeView comment

That was all from the in game engine so credit to them for looking as good as CGI to you at least.

How is it being a business decision somehow not a good reason? All these companies exist to make money and that's the only reason they exist. To reject the decisions they make to that end is nonsense and shows little understanding.

I'm not exactly proud of Sony for doing it and cross platform play would be preferable to not having it but it's crystal clear why they're not doing it and you shouldn't need a business degree to understand it.

Do people think Microsoft and Nintendo are in it for the chits and giggles, to spread love and understanding across the land? Come off it.

2915d ago 29 agree15 disagreeView comment

Well yeah. Nothing wrong with that though it's business.

Whether you're mad about not seeing footage yourself or not you have to admit that they've kept hype at peak levels by not showing gameplay to the public. Personally I liked the trailer so much that it was enough to keep me going.

Getting a bit sick of these articles making it sound like they played it themselves when they didn't. The first article about the behind the scenes footage covered all the details, until people actually get to play it there's nothing more to say.

It reminds me of when a new superhero film comes out that the critics rave about, eventually I'll watch it because despite being sick to death of the genre the hype wears me down and surprise surprise it's the same as all the others barring a couple of insignificant tweaks to the formula.

It looks like a well put together game but I've got no interest in playing it.
