It's always good to have a mix of SP games to escape into and MP games for a more social experience and Bethesda does their bit for the SP market for sure. That said, I'd probably prefer Rage 2 to be along the same lines as Borderlands than a strictly solo game.
You realise there's a huge difference in seeing a trailer and seeing in game footage? Just because you've seen the former doesn't mean you've seen the latter. Can't believe anyone would need that explaining.
Looks pretty fantastic, any chance you can use that engine for your next Scrolls and Fallout games Bethesda and drag them kicking and screaming into the modern age?
I'm with you, I suppose anything gets boring if you hear it all the time but if there's something to the comparison beyond a simple 'it's hard' then I'm interested. There are a lot of complex aspects to From games that people can mean when they draw the comparison that only people who love the games can understand, way beyond just if it's hard or not.
There really aren't that many that would translate all that well for me. A Bioshock series set in Rapture could be brilliant but they'd probably balls it up and taint the franchise.
The only game I've platinumed and it'll probably be the only one. Not the best game I've ever played by any means but it's very engaging and the art style is easy on the eyes to say the least.
Yeah it does look slow but I think it'll work well. Depends how big the map is I guess.
Getting a bit of a Last of Us vibe but with gameplay I would actually enjoy. I really like the look of how the bikes handle, most games make them too twitchy but there's a real sense of weight in this game.
Got my oiyes on this one so I have.
Toussaint was one of the most beautiful places I'd ever seen in a game, although I did have to create a new lot of settings for my tv to tone down the neon blue sky a bit. Walking around the villa you're given made me feel like I was there, I could almost smell it and feel the sun on my skin.
Comically bad review. You can't criticise a game because through your own fault you don't understand something. Too much depth? Ha. Farce.
Bland as water character who looked like an underage twink in bondage gear. I wasn't a faan.
Just to provide a different perspective, while I understand that those who loved the original just wanted a follow up that was along the same lines, I never played it and think this new game looks pretty exciting. Multiplayer seems a good fit for it too which isn't something I usually say.
It's ok.
I like the sound of an optional first person mode, generally speaking that's how I like my RPGs. Wasn't expecting it.
That was my first thought but when you look at their history of underrating PlayStation exclusives their agenda is obvious.
It seems like the sites that want to give GoW a low score for the attention don't dare go lower than a 7.5. That's a big compliment to the the game I reckon.
If the sight of a clean shaven man gives you nightmares you might want to consider toughening up a bit.
I understand Rockstars contentment with sitting back and raking in all the money but I don't respect it. I've little doubt RDR will be great but the lack of activity on their part because of how goddamn rich they're getting is disappointing.
I reckon it'll average an 8 by reviewers worth listening to. It looks like a good game to me but due to the nature of what it is doesn't feel like it's going to hit the 9's.
