That's what I wanted. It would have been ideal, for me, if they'd done that and added sections and expanded on characters and storylines etc to keep it fresh but left the base game largely intact.
It's still a great game to play but apart from the backgrounds it looks like ass now which is why people wanted a remake. Not because they wanted it to be a button masher.
Same. All we can do is hope that they'll change their mind.
Whisky made with gunpowder and tobacco juice is something I'd try. I wouldn't expect it to taste great but if nothing else it'd be manly AF.
I've read many, many complaints about the lack of third person in Cyberpunk and not once have I heard that CDPR lied about it having such a mode, can you provide a source for that?
I also couldn't find anything about Obsidian saying that this game might have it added in a future patch but meh, Fallout had it so it's possible. Never mind that it made the game clumsy and awkward looking AF, I guess it kept people happy.
Why aren't half the comments for this game people crying about it not having a third person option?
Because it's not just another FPS. It's an RPG. Was Fallout 3 just another FPS?
I'm struggling to find any clear figures for the two games but what is clear is that the Witcher series has sold 33 million and given that the third game sold the most by miles your figure of 10 million is way off.
I've got nothing against RDR, I completed the first game and enjoyed it and I think Rockstar are fantastic devs but i wouldn't write off the potential success of Cyberpunk, because history suggests that CDPR know what they're doing just as much as...
I think that's wildly inaccurate having looked it up, the Witcher series as a whole has sold 33 million units and the third game was by far the most successful. It probably sold well over 20 million looking at that figure and the vast gap between the revenue of the third game compared to the first two.
Well I think Cyberpunk is shaping up to be one of the most groundbreaking RPGs of all time, added to which it looks a hell of a lot of fun to play, and I can't seem to get excited at the prospect of playing RDR2 even ignoring the many complaints about it I've heard, so I think they're probably right.
Without checking so I may be wrong, I suspect that TW3 sold (at least) on a par with RDR1. CDPR believe that Cyberpunk beats TW3 in every respect was how they put ...
I went for Bethesda but BioWare's fall from grace was worse, their games used to be fantastic but like you say they're a hollow shell now. Big shame.
Bethesda, obviously Fallout 76 was below par but I'm mainly pissed that the last ES game was fully seven years ago. What have they been doing? It'll be a next gen game and god knows when that will be or if it'll be a shoddy effort on their knackered old engine. One of my favourite game series' missing in action or at least I think it was I'm starting to forget it's been been so long.
One I'm keeping tabs on.
Open world Killzone anyone? Not sure if I like the idea myself but it could work I suppose.
I really don't think the story will be a compelling reason to play this game, I don't buy this article at all. However not every game needs a great story to be worthwhile, I've put countless hours into Warframe and the lore in it bores me rigid, so it's possible that if it's fun and addictive enough it won't be a big deal.
Still a shame for a BioWare game though. That's a company that has lost its way big time. Similar to Bethesda.
I think at the least this game highlights how Bethesda has struggled to innovate and move with the times. If the rumour is true that they intend for ES6 to run on the same engine that was outdated ten years ago then that's a prime example of what I'm saying.
They need to have a word with themselves and ask themselves what do they need to do to make the best games that they possibly can, because currently they're falling far, far short of that target.
"An offline campaign is a thing of the past"
Bullshit.
It's a farce that they're even considering it.
I recently picked the game up again after a few months break and started a new game on creative mode and it's so freeing to be able to explore as you wish without being dragged down by the grind. Discovering and exploring new worlds was always what I enjoyed and I used to feel weighed down by all the resource requirements and blueprints and whatnot. The mechanics of the game aren't interesting enough to make the grind for them enjoyable.
To be fair BioWare RPGs have always featured very diverse characters and leaned heavily on political storylines so this is nothing new at all. TBH the political stuff in DA bores me even more than the real life version does but that's the way the series is so put up or shut up. If the new game is good I'll put up with it.
Don't see any reason at all they couldn't add it in later. Look at how much Warframe has added since day one.
Everything you do in co-op tends to be informal competitive PVE but it's good to have a tailor made mode for it.
