Purely in terms of gameplay, not story, I thought The Last of Us stank. I found it so painfully dull to play that I can't imagine how so many people apparently genuinely enjoyed it. I was really let down by it going into it on the wave of hype it rode on.
You like it you buy it, you don't then don't. If you enjoy the zombie shooting action that the demo teased then the full game is ready and waiting for you.
Shame Bethesda put all their S.P.E.C.I.A.L points in Stagnation.
What? You managed to finish it with five minutes to spare but somehow it's not enough time for a demo because you didn't uncover every possible secret? What a load of nonsense.
It's a teaser, a flavour of the full game. If it's good while it lasts then that's all that matters. Buy the game if you like what you see.
Can't believe I'm having to explain the concept of demos.
Why would Bethesda put that in when they know they have the coding ability of a sleepy toddler and it was inevitable it'd be accessed. They seem determined to shoot themselves in the foot.
Never liked Halo or Destiny so I don't really give a f what they do.
Must admit that the more I saw of it the more it looked like it needed work so this is a good thing. The core gameplay looked ok but it was devoid of atmosphere and the level design was boring and pretty basic from what I remember.
It looked like they wanted to make it dark and sinister but didn't have the artistic flair for it. All things that can be sorted out in time though.
It's possible, five years between 4 and 5 and it's been five more since 5. I imagine they've been too busy rolling round in mountains of cash to keep to that time frame but 6 might be further along than you think. They keep their cards close to their chest so their radio silence about it means very little.
I don't like them either, especially when they're shoehorned in as a way to lengthen the game but don't fit the rest of the gameplay. Stealth focused games are fine because I can avoid them by not buying them.
I used to love MGS1 on the PS1 but I dunno what's happened, over the years I can be arsed less and less to sneak around. Most horror games with no means to fight back leave me bored, gave up on Soma when I realised I had no enthusiasm to hide in the f...
I think it'll be solid enough and have a decent shelf life but it won't be in the territory of reputation saving. Depending on how they handle the inevitable MTs it could potentially damage their reputation.
The Transformers films sell a tonne of tickets but they're absolutely rubbish.
You could tell from the first footage that they'd nailed it so I'm not surprised it's turned out to be good. Great original game but old and showing its age so ripe for a tasteful and intelligent remake.
That's the best cosplay I've ever seen. The costume, the background, the photography, all sells it completely.
Everything from Mario to God of War features killing as a primary gameplay feature. It might look cute in Mario and Zelda but it's still violence and those creatures still die. For this reason he's right, if people weren't naturally drawn to physical combat then it wouldn't be by far the main gameplay mechanic in so many games. If humans didn't have that instinct we'd only be playing non violent puzzle games.
Impossible to tell these days what's satire and what's real. A dollar for a dot? Twenty for a virtual Santa suit you'll wear once? Who tf knows.
Fallout as a series isn't overrated at all if you like adult RPGs. If you're looking for a sick FPS with RPG elements then you'll be disappointed but that's not why people like it.
I don't think an online Fallout or ES is a bad idea because I've often thought it'd be cool to play with friends or meet randoms but the way they implemented it was plain stupid.
Pretty nuts how the customisations to the Viper alone cost $180,000 and it's just been resold for $63,000 with barely any miles on the clock. Usually one of a kind items appreciate in value not depreciate.
Great game handling and graphics wise but the career mode could have been better.
It's not really a genre that I'm into but it looks spot on. Very polished and well presented.
I like loads of games with substance. Just not that one.
