There's a reason they're called 'gods' and not 'regular people'. It's nice they've diversified even more but gods looking godly wasn't exactly a glaring issue with the first game.
9/10 hours for a quality SP game is absolutely fine. There are more than enough lengthy games out there if that's what you want.
I didn't like the combat but I think it was because I was bad at it.
I wouldn't mind if the sequel eased up on combat difficulty and had more weight to attacks. The series has potential but they have to find the balance between hardcore sim elements and fun gameplay
Remake was on PS4, Rebirth isn't. You don't need to be a genius to get to the bottom of the mystery.
Buying something probably.
I don't think it's overhyped, gameplay wise there are mixed opinions not so much about quality as about what kind of game it is. Some games just hit the nail smack on the head in terms of sales appeal and this is one of them imo.
Yes. There are several key things the game has going for it that have really captured interest and it'll sell loads. Seems pretty obvious.
I don't think this game is for me but I like their style. A bit of common sense applied and I expect it will be very successful.
So we're looking at Hellblade 2 (niche indie game), Avowed (looks rough), DLC and Indiana Jones which looks pretty good. I'm not saying these games are irrelevant but they don't strongly suggest redemption for a struggling brand.
Not really what I expected from the next game by the Dead Cells team. Great soundtrack and the gameplay looks polished, not into the aesthetic.
If Pseudoregalia is one of the best I'd hate to see what the worst look like.
Went and found a trailer for this, which they don't appear to have bothered including in the article, looks great. Hardly any reviews or anything so it looks like it didn't just fly under the radar it barely took off at all.
He backed the wrong horse and lost. Put quite a bit on it as well.
Seems like a futile effort but good luck to them.
Not my sort of game at all.
Looks like the lore could be interesting.
Agreed stick with what they do best just get creative with it. Who wouldn't want another game like Elden Ring but in a fresh setting.
For my money if you can't get the licence to have all the top players represented then don't bother with any of them and use made up players, in real venues. Doesn't feel like the real thing with so many players missing so why pretend it is. Save money on licenses and put it into development.
Maybe get one ex pro to be your in game coach so you can stick their face on the marketing.
They exaggerate wildly it seems to me, to the extent that their scores are worthless. It's like asking an enthusiastic toddler what they think.
Would it have more players if it released on Xbox? Undoubtedly. Would that be worth undermining the point and long term benefits of successful console exclusives? Not even a little bit.
