I think it'll have to be set in Egypt. It's the only place with a recognisable set of gods ready to go. I don't see them using anyone obscure they'll want characters well known in pop culture.
The setting also lends itself well to the series visually and would be a welcome change from snowy landscapes.
What do married people do, knit each other socks?
Probably because Xbox is all about Gamepass whereas PS+ is far more incidental in the grand Sony picture.
I picked it up on sale recently, going to play it next summer. I'll get more out of it this time, first time around I treated the open world like it was GTA and goofed about, whereas now I'll play it with more respect. RDR2 has trained me well.
I also hadn't read Raymond Chandler at the time so presumably that'll add another layer of enjoyment too.
The article doesn't say what Lumen, Nanite or Virtual Shadow Maps are. How is the average reader supposed to know what to think when these things are being criticised for being absent without any explanation of what they are.
I doubt it, NMS redemption was the result of a labour of love for an original idea and a desire to restore the reputation of a fledgling developer.
None of that relates to Bethesda. If it sells reasonably well they'll wash their hands of it, until they've got DLC to sell.
I'm not one for collector's editions and won't be getting this one (sounds like they've put effort into it though), but it's definitely one of those series' I'd consider getting some merch for. Some of the coolest and most distinctive art of any game for me.
Fine as long as you can switch it off, it's not for me.
Good. It's a shame ND wasted time and money on it but it's probably for the best.
While nobody knows the figures I doubt they were making a profit on hardware at launch, nobody tends to apart from Nintendo, and now they're selling it at half of what the launch price was it's realistically very likely the losses are significant.
Hardware just isn't where the profits are made for Sony and MS.
I think people are probably enjoying Sophy, if they release their next game with it featuring as a core component they're on to a winner imo.
Offline racing against an AI that acts like an intelligent human is perfection for a lot of people.
Yeah I would tend to agree. I finished the Ironwood section earlier today and it felt like it took forever. Could have been cool if it was a third of the length and gave some development to Atreus (if we must) but it was very dull and felt like it was borrowed from a different and worse game.
I think the next GoW needs to move away from the serious drama and concentrate on being fun.
Poor comment.
I'd imagine it was planned, a roguelike mode doesn't slot in neatly with the rest of the game. Stands well on its own as DLC though.
It looks good but it being made by Ubisoft puts me off. It looks polished and big budget but also like it hasn't got a single original idea. I like my Metroidvanias to have character, Hollow Knight, Blasphemous etc.
So quiet it was like hearing a marshmallow drop.
I seem to have pretty much retired from online multiplayer so it's not really for me, but I like the idea of a whole planet to explore. I've often wondered why it's not been done before, especially for a RPG, procedurally generate the world then go over it and handcraft all the important stuff.
Adjust the size of the planet to suit how much time and effort you have to spend on development.
How cool is that. A roguelite mode for GoW never occurred to me but it's a great idea, the combat is so much fun.
I can only speak for myself but that's the only alternate controller I'd buy from what they've released so far. It's classy AF.
Makes sense, I haven't finished it yet so wouldn't know.
