Looks pretty good, definitely feels like Indiana Jones in the cutscenes, and the gameplay looks solid.
Should be a decent bit of dumb fun. I hope they keep the idea that anyone can be killed off at any time main character or not.
I don't recall the climbing in TR (agreed it's too basic in Uncharted) but I wish the Uncharted games had the pinpoint platforming that Tomb Raider had. Would have elevated the base gameplay for me.
That looks about as good a remaster as you could hope for. Very tastefully done and thorough.
Are people genuinely excited about Hellblade 2 and Indiana Jones? If they were PS exclusives I wouldn't be interested. In the interest of balance there's not much scheduled for PS that I'm bothered about. FF7 for sure but beyond that...
Naturally the sphinx has a female face, tits on display and a man's voice.
FF7 is the only one to get my heart racing in that lot. Pacific Drive is interesting but it'll depend on reviews.
I really want to see what the new game that Naughty Dog has been working on is. It's been a while since their last major release they must have something up their sleeve.
Alien maybe. Bond too.
Indiana Jones and the Lost Glasses
It looks like a really good game in a genre I love but it feels like it's been designed by committee. Take this gameplay and gift it to an indie game with a sense of individuality and you've got a classic.
I can't remember how previous games handled it but it makes sense in a game that you should have to build up to having high end cars, even if the real life logic is lacking.
The main thing I want changing is tapping X to run. It never was a good idea.
This list is absolutely spot on.
It's pointless no doubt but I never start any game until it's completely downloaded.
Good months and mediocre months but objectively if you like getting your money's worth it's a great deal.
Might be in a minority here but I didn't enjoy any of the sections playing as Atreus or having companions at all. If I had my way it'd be Kratos on his lonesome from start to finish. Straightforward action gameplay without the endless boring chatter.
Quite the assumption maker aren't you. No, I wouldn't be pounding my chest about any of those games in any circumstance hence my comment about it being a weak list.
I didn't fancy the original Hellblade so excuse me if I'm not interested in the sequel.
That's a really weak list to be fair.
Rather than DLC a sequel that built on everything that worked and polished the bits that didn't would be ideal. There was a lot to like about the first game and it'd be a great base for a follow up with improved combat etc.
Feels like the game is a bit old for DLC, I can imagine them grafting on it and nobody buying it.
I take your point, but if there was a cutscene which went "what's that, some kind of portal!?" and then Kratos appears in ancient Egypt personally I wouldn't question it or care in the slightest.
I've never owned an Xbox but I've got no problem saying when a game looks good and this one does to me. Could be their answer to Uncharted which is ironic considering that Uncharted is basically an unlicensed Indy game.
