Apparently nobody understands what a utility patent is. There is little to no chance that the controller looks like that. It was concept art based on the utility patent. The design patent, if they file one, is where you describe and show the actual design. The most basic understanding of business is lost on the gaming community.
Maybe I'm just a semi successful adult. But I just buy all the systems.
I feel sorry for people internalize a brand as a representation of themselves. These are just plastics boxes with parts that play games. The brand loyalty in any direction is asinine.
Or, if you want people to read an article don't use some ridiculous headline that undermines the main point(s) of the article. Pretty simple solution if the author wants people to actually READ.
It's most likely because they don't need traditional games media any more. Who cares what IGN or Game Informer thinks any more? We can wait for footage and decide for ourselves day 1. I find viewing streams or a giant bomb quick look to be far more beneficial than the word vomit most of these websites spit out as a review. Large media sites barely have competent writers, let alone people that are actually willing or know how to write and review critically.
Would be ice if the artcle mentioned pannel brightness. Anything under 600 nits is worthless for hdr.
Gamer group think struck again. People got hung of on a couple graphical bugs and even people who never played the game started shitting on it.
Totally agree, lets all just let devs make the games they want. If you don't like it don't buy it. Pretty simple. But have a kid fit trying to get it censored is dumb AF.
and you can get an xbox or ps3 controller for 40 or 50 at the walmart where Iive.
@cobra951, I mispoke, not I do not think that it's not affordable, but there are certainly better values elsewhere if you do not NEED the portability or nintendo exclusives, But if you do, you pay a premium. People accept this pricing from Nintendo. Would you accept a Sony or Microsoft console where games were always prices at $60 and never dropped in price?
Right no...
Its NOT about hardware sales. Most consoles dont turn profit on console hardwar for years. Consoles used to be needed to get software into peoples homes. Now that isnt the case and Microsoft is smart to get software into peoples hands on every platform. Simple minded people don't understamd even the most simple business concepts.
Technically the switch is probably the most expensive console to own. It's premium priced, the games prices are always more than other consoles, the games never drop in price, there are required accessory you need to buy, the pro controller is insane an $70. Look at the RE origin port, that was $40 on all consoles at launch. It's $60 on switch.
Look gaming is still cheaper than ever, but lets not pretend the switch is affordable. They found that by making the ...
People don't get it because they are dumb.
In general, if you are paid, or sponsored to review a game on youtube you have to agree to terms of what can and cannot be said. That is why sponsored reviews are garbage. But, EA was well within their right to blacklist him.
Red Dead Redemption 2 = Kill kill > walk slow listen to someone talk > ride horse and listen to someone talk > pet horse > brush horse > walk slow listen to someone talk > ride horse and listen to someone talk > kill kill
RINSE and REPEAT
For the most part the majority of gamers are morons in the literal sense. They lack the ability to understand individual opinion are almost always run with the group think.
So you are saying that this person can't have a positive opinion of the games? Gamer group think at it's finest.
Guerilla made a killzone for ps4 launch and then made horizon zero down. How many games do you think a studio can get out?
"Also to note, is the fact that Dizzy’s aspect ratio is set to Native 16:9, a real eye burner for most gamers who log long hours of play."
So do most use 4:3? Im confused.
You obviously missed the main point about ITERATION.
