No idea but I was playing around between fidelity and fidelity RT, graphics and frame rate def take a hit. Wasn’t worth it for me. Fidelity mode looks good as is and frame rate has been rock solid so far. If it’s starts dipping later I’ll swap to performance and see how that goes. So far so good though. In fidelity def keep frame cap on. It’s all over the place without it.

I’m surprised it’s coming to switch at all lol it can barely handle 1st party games these days so how it will manage to be playable on switch is beyond me

Me: Looks at 458 PSN games
Me: Looks at 2 steam games
Me: Looks at 21 Xbox games

It goes both ways. Just depends where you spend the majority of your time. Doesn’t take into account games bought at full price or on sale so it essentially means nothing. My 21 Xbox games could have contributed more money to gaming if you bought your 874 games all on steep discounts. I doubt that’s accurate I’m just making a point.

Right? haha how are spoilers hard to avoid? I JUST watched House of the Dragon a couple weeks ago and didnt see any spoilers. It’s not that hard.

I don’t know. I was a little old for the series but my sister was the perfect age and I’ve known a bunch of people who loved the HP franchise when they were young. They all seem pretty normal. All this outlash seems to be professional angry people and internet cry babies.
Me, in general not a fan, don’t care. And I’m getting the game because it looks cool lol I could care less who does or doesn’t or for what reasons they choose to do either.

It’s competently made for sure. But the atmosphere and sound design are pretty bland. I never for a second found it tense like Dead Space is. And I think a big part of that is the melee combat. Once you know how it works it doesn’t become instense at all. They get close and it’s not a big deal. Again, in dead space you don’t want the enemy’s anywhere near you so when they get close you start to want distance. But in Callisto Protocol, that’s the combat. I think it loses a lot because of it. Also I’ve had the official PS charge dock and swap them over, again not a huge issue. But having worse battery life on a premium controlled is just poor design. They could have easily put in a better quality battery with the same capacity that doesn’t degrade as badly.

I’m from canada yeah so it’s $269.99 here. $300 after tax.
My problem isn’t with charging time, you skipped over the play time and battery degradation. The regular DualSense after about a year, last 3-4 hours on average. One of my launch controllers is dead and the other lasts 2 hours of play. So this battery with more features, and a battery 2/3 the size, I’d estimate after a year will last 1-2 hours. That’s NOT gonna last 1 play session without needing a charge and having to swap ...

I’ve been having a blast with it on console sitting on my couch lol they mapped the controlles to controller surprisingly well. I thought it was going to be a mess but I had it all down in about 10 minutes. I wish they had implemented more gameplay settings when creating matches, but it’s a small complaint. On my Series X it runs perfectly even with all the settings cranked to high and the map and population sizes cranked up to max. Haven’t had a stutter besides the odd one when it auto saves...

I’ve had 4 DualSenses, I have 3 currently. 1 right now is fine lasting around 5-6 hours of gameplay. the other 3, 2 launch and one about a year after, last around 2-4 hours of gameplay. So I’m constantly switching controllers to/from the dock. Shity but not a huge issue, but this is a $300 controller. And Sony are listing it at 4-5 hours of life. So after a year this controller is most likely going to be lasting an hour to 2 hours max. So now I can’t even have a full play session with my fanc...

@b777conehead

Sony themselves are estimating 4-5 hours of battery life. New. So after 6 months to a year, that’s gonna be down to 1-2 hours. Do you play for 1-2 hours? I’ve had 4 DualSenses, ALL of them last MAX 4 hours after around 6 months. They use a cheap and small battery already. That’s bad. So no, charging it overnight won’t help when my fancy new $300 controller doesn’t last a whole gaming session.
For comparison, I average 20-30 hours of straight gameplay ...

I’d say they’re both 10’s in the genre. Both do what they set out to do damn near perfectly. I’d call it a tie. RE2R does inventory management better, and the police station is top notch level design. But DSR I think has it beat in the sound design and atmosphere. I find DSR way more tense to actually play.
Just my opinion though. Like I said, both are amazing and I like both about the same.

Hopefully they release a version with a decent battery. The dualsense is an awesome controller. But even the battery in the regular one is trash, now the edges is 2/3 the size? That’s unacceptable for a $200-$300 pro controller.

I stopped hoping years ago. But we can still enjoy the thought of it when new articles like this pop up haha

Even a prequel showing the war Rose was a part of before the main story would be cool. I’d take anything honestly, prequel, sequel or remake lol

I’ve been asking for this for over a decade. It’s a fantastic RPG. I bought a vita just to go back and play it again a few months ago.

How about instead of trying to improve trash, make a Batman beyond game. We’ve been itching for one for decades.

I’m on my NG+ run now and litteraly just did the zero g section. I didn’t notice any major frame drops on either playthrough in PS5.
