I just replayed Days Gone. Finishe it last weekend. Good game. Had some issues sure, but it would have been a great foundation to build on for a sequel. Such a shame PS abandoned it. Still can’t figure out why. If sold just as well as some other games that sold around the same amount. And I understand critically it wasn’t the best, but it has a solid fan base. And if the things people complained about were addressed, then there’s no reason a 2nd game couldn’t have done better.
Yeah I was thinking the same. Was pleasantly surprised how good it was at launch. Very solid little action/adventure game. Def in need of a 2nd play through soon.
I think they’ve got their hands full with Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine. Otherwise an Iron Man game wouldn’t come out till the next gen systems lol
Not only that, but, yeah it’s nice, but why spend money on this controller when the Duelsense Edge is coming out? A collector might want it, but at $90CAD for a regular controller, I’ll just save my money for the Edge.
I’ll never understand why people wish something to fail, that doesn’t effect them in the slightest. Even if you don’t want to play it, it’s available for new people to play who haven’t yet. It’s not like hating it will stop it from being made. It’s done, it’s out. Why want something to fail? So a great developer can lose money and have a harder time making great things in the future? You’re just a miserable person I bet.
And 5 people? It’s a widely accepted great game. Great reviews ...
I def wouldn’t call that a skin. That’s a whole modification to the PS5’s plates. They look wicked though. Can’t wait till some companies start making crazy custom plates and selling them.
One could argue, it’s not “essential” to the lore until Harry Potter comes into it. Before that wasn’t it just a sport? Def would have been cool and that’s kind of a bummer. But I dont think it was THAT integral to the world.
Yeah they def aren’t the company they once were. They used to make games to make players, and by extension, themselves, happy. But all the old leadership had moved on. Now it’s all profit driven, and they are willing to sue their own creators for posting videos of a nearly 30 year old game.
Bruh. I don’t know who your friends are. But TLOU was massive right at release. I was a 360 guy at the time and even I was seeing the fantastic trailers EVERYWHERE. The reviews were splattered on every website. Ads on every website, gaming or non gaming related. Everyone was talking about it. There was def no “before it was cool” time. Sony pushed that game out HARD. Every gaming YouTuber was talking about it. It made me buy a cheap PS3 just to get the game cuz it looked that damn good.
Such an underrated game. One of my favs last gen.
If it comes out at THAT price I’ll wait for a sale. Honestly I wouldn’t spend more than $150CAD/$115USD on one. Some trigger stops and 2 extra buttons shouldn’t make the price almost 3 times as high imo. Even with a carrying case.
Kudos for including a Canadian price. Don’t see that often haha But $199USD would be about $259CAD.
For context. Regular controllers go for about $89.99 or $94.99 CAD. But they regularly go on sale for $69.99.
Most adult gamers I know still see switch as a “kids” console and don’t own one. I only personally know 2 other adults who use one. So no, Nintendo doesn’t turn non gamers into gamers. They have issues just being seen as a worthwhile system currently with the new generation out.
It was a blast to play. The campaign was short for sure, but still entertaining. And the HIGHLY underrated arena mode is simple, but seriously worth playing with a friend. Had a blast customizing my gladiator and going through all the rounds with the moving/changing arena. So much fun.
How’re people not getting the massive amounts of sarcasm in this post lmao thumbs up from me
Yeah sounds about right. Solid 15 to 30 min state of play.
Every company, 1st and 3rd party usually tries to have a big release ready for the holidays. And November works best because it’s out before Xmas, so there’s some hype, and anyone who didn’t buy it at launch can ask for it as a gift.
November. Called it. It’s always November lol
I won’t be upgrading from the basic (essential) version until PS3 games can be downloaded. And they add Legend of Dragoon for classics. It’s a damn atrocity they haven’t added it in. It’s a 1st party PS game and it was available on the PSP/Vita. I already own it there but my Vita died years ago and have been craving a replay for years.
Yeah there’s almost no chance it would be any more than $10. The games already on the updated engine Part 1 is being made into. It doesn’t need a full remake. Just a solid update and it’s good. No different than the Ghost of Tsushima PS5 upgrade. But it won’t be $25 because that had an expansion bundled in.
I’m fine with a $10 upgrade. It’s a fantastic game and I always support developers who do great work.
I’ll prob try it at some point. I LOVED their last game Friday the 13th The Game by Gun. Still play it from time to time. Always seem to be able to get full lobbies. It is a blast to play. The only isometric horror type game I’ve really enjoyed. Wish they hadn’t lost the rights to it and had been able to keep updating it or make a full sequel. Playing as Jason was crazy fun. And being a counselor was actually tactical and fun to play as. Which I personally never find fun in other similar game...
