I think the cost of what was originally put into Killer Freaks from Outer Space plus the cost of remaking that game into ZombiU could explain Ubi not making a profit off the game. The sales were decent for console release game, it sounds to me like Ubi just went too far over on their budget retooling the game and couldn't make all that money back. So in closing, they mismanaged their money and now putting the blame on something else like other AAA studios do when their projects fail to ma...
Valkyria chronicles should be on this list, along with Sin and punishment 2, Dead Space Extraction and Enslaved. Edit- Catherine, maybe not so much for the gameplay but for telling a strange story in a suprisingly engaging way.
Singularity was good but it was SHORT. Like 4-5 hours kinda short and after the fact there was no real reason to play it again which is a shame since the time manipulation of items was a great idea.
I miss the days when companies didn't want your personal info just to use their products.
No, it should concern everyone whether they're a gamer or not.
This is only a piece of the much bigger issue of privacy in the US. The last decade has seen information on everyday people turned into a money making, information gathering circus whether you want it to be or not. How are people not bothered by this? When and why did it become acceptable to gather info about peoples everyday lives for the pursuit of some other organizations benefit with no benefit to the average person. We're being farmed, and that means that to these organisations we ar...
Nowhere near 95% of the western market have all those things, your making up statistics AND there were no concerns about a living room spybox in the 90's this is very much a post millennium issue.
New Valkyria Chronicles on Wii U! Or on anything that's not handheld or XOne :/
This is a fail.
This kind of logic will only lead to AAA failure.
You do realize that those games that are being rented out were bought new right? And what's so wrong with rental, should I stop renting movies since the producers aren't getting paid from it? Long live rental.
I wonder what the statistics for the U.S. are, I would guess they would be at least close to the same.
But a digital game market relinquishes many of the abilities you have with the physical copies, not to mention thit's just not true. Most ebooks can be found cheaper as used physical copies, most digital movies are more or just as expensive as retail and way more expensive than a used copy and music is just as expensive but now you can buy by the track instead of a whole album. The digital market is just a way of limiting what customers can do with their purchases while gaining more prof...
It's money. Sony realized with the PS3 that instead of offering BC with the system they can just charge for these games all over again instead of letting you play your physical copies. The one PS3 model that was BC was phased out as quickly as possible so PSN could start selling classic games, now instead we're getting no BC at all and a streaming service that will be a monthly subscription so you can play those games you already bought. And just to clear this up, how is it that archi...
Maybe instead of spending more on game development the process itself needs to be made easier and cheaper. I'm sure some R & D could go a long way to streamlining the triple A process and allow smaller teams to do bigger things.
Good.
I stand corrected, I was going off this particular article and its wording.
You should use proper punctuation by putting a space after your periods. Or stop being a douche, either one would be acceptable.
The article is making an assumption about EVO, this is not actual information. I don't like N's policies on LPs either, but this is shoddy journalism.
People with seizures are going to kick ass at this game lol
