Yea, you don't win worst company in America 2 years in a row for being honest about your business practices.
I'm really split on the Kinect, I think it's a great idea and if it works how it's supposed to (emphasis on IF, I remember all the broken promises of the first kinect) it could revolutionize gameplay. That being said I don't like a camera that can't be unhooked with a microphone that can't really be turned off and I hate the idea of it scanning my room to find advertisement suggestions, checking how many people are around, etc. It's going to come down to how it'...
That's why it's a question with a statement instead of just a statement ;)
I don't want to see episodic games, there's too much of a chance for games to get cancelled halfway through. A game like Beyond Good and Evil might have only made it halfway before being canned, and I think many could agree the last thing the industry needs is more incomplete games. I could see some potential for indie games, or maybe as episodic DLC but not for regular releases
So, is this supposed to make up for a lack of a remake? Cause it doesn't.
So, if you have all three does that make you a pregnant cockroach groper?
First, I'm glad you enjoyed Colonial Marines. If you bought it, played it and felt you got your moneys worth then that is ultimately what matter and I'm happy you got what you wanted.
Secondly, you can speed run the Jaguar/PC AVP but they have multiple characters to play as ( Alien, Predator, Marine) and combined regular playthrough time is about 15- 20 hours, and for its time was a great looking game with good controls. AVP for 360 and PS3 is about the same, about 4 or 5 hour...
It's too bad about the PS3 Vesperia, but since Xillia is coming soon and PS3 is getting the Symphonia games in HD it makes up for it :) As far as One games the only things that are interesting me are D4 and Crimson Dragon but that's not enough for me to want to get it, at least not until I see where MS is going to go with their system. 360 wise their really isn't much worth getting one for either, you mentioned the other great RPG and past that it was just Halo and Gears for me. I...
This is unfortunate for the UK, I hope Gamefly here in the states isn't the next to go, I need my rental services!
Aliens vs Predator on the Jaguar played better and looks about the same... :] okay maybe not the same but the Aliens vs Predator game from 3 years ago wasn't anywhere near as bad as CM. The Aliens arcade game was a beast for its day, completely sucks it never made it to consoles. Even Alien 3 on the SNES looked good for its time and had some decent gameplay.
The demo, like any demo, should at least be representative of the final product which it failed to do on MANY levels. It'...
PS3 version so no modding for me, otherwise I would at least try. This glitch plus others have since been fixed but the game is still pretty buggy. I appreciate the thought though, thanks for throwing out a decent idea :)
Shinji Mikami needs to take noticed, that 'thing' on the horse is far scarier than any RE creature I've seen so far.
All the CG in movies hasn't made them any better over the last 6-7 years why should improved graphics make games any better? Don't get me wrong, I like pretty graphics but if the gameplay, story and play mechanics don't match up it doesn't really amount to much. I need to see the way games are played take a leap forward more than graphics and so far outside of the Kinect (if it works this time) I'm not seeing the much needed revolution here. Maybe the Occulus Rift can help...
Retail games may be cheaper by inflation but this list doesn't include DLC, something that has made the 'full' retail game just as, if not more, expensive than games from the 16 bit era. There's also the cost of controllers which has gone up (though I'm not completely sure on that one after inflation though), the cost of an internet connection if multiplayer is your thing and now on top of the internet connection a monthly subscription to use that connection in the first p...
I pre ordered Borderlands 2, played it for a week and got hit with the Badass rank glitch which dropped my BA rank to 0 but left the experience I had accumulated toward my BA rank unchanged so I couldn't get it back, not to mention many many other bugs and glitches. They are fun games, but not worth the BS I put up with or worth giving Pitchford more money.
Not buying anymore Gearbox games.
The Final Fight Tranny is on the list so I'm happy. And Vanille and Fang are completely lesbian, I don't see how anyone could think otherwise.
I'm sorry Randy, I didn't realize you thought you were shitting gold on my face, I guess that makes it ok...
Not buying anymore Gearbox games.
My whole reasoning for ever getting a 360 was Tales of Vesperia. Deadly Premonition was an added bonus a couple of years later :]
I think what is most troubling about all this is the lack of refunds. Company makes a broken product, can't or won't support it but the money stil goes to the company.
This is a really good read, very insightful.
