Strange, my neighbors step aunt spits in your neighbors step aunts mouth for $65 an hour... but she never got fired
I still have my copy of Twin Snakes, but nothing to play it on! Oh, the horror....
Anyway, TS is awesome and a great addition to the GC library. I wasn't really aware of much hate out there for it, it sounds like someones friend is butthurt a Sony exclusive made it to a Nintendo platform with better graphics and new cutscenes.
I would love to see a reimagining of Guns of the Patriots on Wii U with some spiffy second screen first person aiming, a map and item management. H...
Very excited, the Tales series has been giving and will continue to give generously to us western folks.
I saw that bank draft for all that money your parents got milking horses for 'white gold' and drinking it on stage while traveling with a bunch of inbred carnys, oh sorry I meant relatives, and it's a pretty healthy sum.
To everyone who says the ps4 architecture is different fron ps3... how do we have ps1&2 games on ps3? Why cant the ps4 just emulate ps3 like a computer does? This is for money, by offering Gaikai instead of actual backwards compatibility Sony gets to charge monthly for anyone that wants to play those older games instead of just playing what you've already bought. The only company offering REAL BC is Nintendo, both with their physical discs AND digital purchases. This is a sad economy ...
The industry could use more people with Lannings outlook and with the rise of indie development and smaller studios making great games I hope the industry will get those people. It's just always refreshing to hear someone talk about games, or anything for that matter, and make it feel like the bottom dollar isn't the most important thing in the world. Looks like Oddworld is getting my money again.
It's the least popular because it's usually $50 more than the wi fi only version and the 3g through AT&T costs $30 a month and offers limited online functionality (no large downloads, online play over 3g). The 3g version does have wi fi so it's not a big deal which one is purchased so long as it can be had for a good price, but I'm on a tight budget and a wi fi model on clearance would be more in my price range :)
It's not suprised the 3g version would get clearanced out, it's the least popular of the 2 models. Now if the wifi version gets a price cut I'm game to pick one up... if I can afford it :/
Hopefully this just a simple error. Time to wait and watch...
That's the kind of attitude that leads to bad business decisions for the customer and worse decisions for the industry as a whole.
Gamings biggest block to being better or replacing literature is the human imagination itself. Books force your brain to help create the setting, style and graphical tone of the words in a book while games take that away since the graphics are right there in front of you. If anything games have gone backwards in this sense because better graphics lead to less use of the players imagination and more reliance on the vast amounts of pretty put on screen.
Also, games are still bad at stor...
For games with very little story it works well but story heavy games shouldn't be built into a franchise, the constant sequels draw out plotlines longer than they should and the storytelling is always the first aspect to get worse.
The Shadow Hearts recommendation is awesome, these games are truly some of the best and should be required playing for the entire human race. PLAY THEM NOW!
I'm hyped to see more indie games and devs coming to the Wii U, i think smaller developers are going to be making many of the real masterpieces this gen. I think the Wii U will also become a haven for companies that could get pushed out of next gen from increased development costs.
The battle music while fighting Giygas and the battle music for fighting some of the mechanical/space creatures is fanatastic, some of my all time favorite. Everybody dubstep with fuzzy pickles!
I think your idea of quality is a little off here, it wouldn't mean that games like slender or lone survivor wouldn't make it on the wiiu it means games that only involve pushing a cat away from your breakfast wouldn't be allowed. As for odd or niche titles there's no reason for those not to make it on the wiiu unless they're crap.
No sequel, no trilogy, no franchise fluff stuffing please please please. The last thing I want out of TLOU is for it to go the Assasins Creed route or something of that nature, it needs to be left as a stand alone story of a man travelling with a girl through the post apocalypse. I'm so tired of sequels and prequels and side stories being thrown out and convoluting stories and making it so you have to spend hundreds of dollars just to know what's happening, please just let this game h...
I'm not sure about Deus Ex but Sleeping Dogs and Tomb Raider failed to make a profit, TR even had great sales numbers but I guess too much was spent on development and advertising. Add the XIII games and Sqeenix trying to release crap high cost mobile games and the results have been very bad.
Hopefully the extra cost goes towards localizing Mother 3. Really hoping...
They're nothing to base purchases on, if it's there ok but if not I really don't care.
