I love my WiiU because of BC between discs and digital content, because Bayonetta is getting a much deserved sequel, because Wonderful 101 seems to be trying to do something new with controls, because even simple things like item management and menus can be done differently, because of the upcoming swath of indie titles and because so far everything I've played on it has been pretty awesome. I'm sure the other consoles will offer different great experiences as well but it doesn't ...
Charm AND value. I'm glad to have a system with BC between not just my discs but digital content as well. Can't wait to get a PS4 and be able to play all those digital games I've spent money on throughout the years... except I won't be able too. And gotta love that free online play that PS4 will have... except it doesn't. But at least I can have that second screen experience on the PS4... for another $250. Don't misunderstand, I'm truly excited about Sonys next sys...

I mostly agree with you here, DLC has become the poo stained toilet paper stuck to a shoe of gaming, it tends to be embarrassing and smells bad. At least Levine didn't produce it side by side with the game to be held back though, these are efforts to do it right by expanding the world without pulling away from the game. Too bad most EVERY OTHER COMPANY does it wrong >:(
The Gamecube controller has been the most comfortable thing my hands have ever held, I'm sure DS4 will be better than DS3 but best ever is a pretty big statement.

This should have started in the middle of this current console gen, but better late than never I guess.
I say they're both too expensive, and with hardware being the fickle creature it is (RRoD, YLoD anyone?) I'd rather wait for the inevitable price drop and hardware issues to be worked out before making a purchase
