I can't wait until New Vegas drops but I haven't read any previews for the PS3 side of things. Wonder if it runs the same as 360.
And I wish they'd release mods for the PS3 version, I don't know why more games don't do this. I thought UT3 was a mediocre shooter but I played the hell out of it for months based on mods alone
That's why I still haven't picked it up yet. Being a PS3 owner I didn't get to play Bioshock until later and I loved it. Saw what the 2nd was about and I still haven't decided to play it or not.
Now with all these Infinite sceens and info, I'm starting to think I should just skip 2 and jump right into this one. It just seems like a fresh story, which I might enjoy. Decisions!
That's what I was thinking. Hale in full alien form, reeking havok across the US until the campaign gets to NYC and I want an epic boss battle, resulting in a Star Wars-esqe ending where Hale becomes good, maybe kills himself and destroys whatever ship controls everything, Idk. Just a thought
Would be cool if in the last missions you actually controlled Hale in alien form then too. Bring it full circle.
I never played the first and I'm hearing that the ME2 storyline carries over a lot from that? Hopefully we get some new info soon
The first Rock Band I think, and only because I bought the whole kit. But then again the Gamestop at my house never has midnight launches unless its for Halo, Gears, COD, etc. Hell I don't even pre-order games anymore, they are always around, unless there's some kind of worthwhile add-on that comes with it. And I'm 23.
You can unlock everything w/o paying for it, I hope. 90+ is insane though. And just attributes, I was hoping this year they would add way more equipment to choose from.

If I were that kids parents I'd be so bummed. Perfectly good plants, taken away over a game like WoW. I'd change that WEP key & put that shit on lock down until the next plants sprout up.
Having a kid doesn't mean you need to quit the green brother, just gotta choose the right time and be a bit more careful. Not to mention the first time you'll get to share a J w/ them :)
OT: I would love this. What would be even better is if you could change your name while retaining the same buddy list/account, although I doubt that would happen.

UT3 is actually easier than it looks. A lot of the trophies, if not all, can be done in SP. And the "Get A Life" trophy can be done in SP too. I got super annoyed after a solid month of grinding and set up an Online-Arena-Death match w/ Bots and just did one a day. Although I'm sure you could just change your calender settings if you wanted...Guess I never thought about that
But still a pain though..
30 Hostage Extracts away from that damn platinum. Which blows since an extraction game mode is once every 7 maps, and the chances of extracting, let alone ME getting the extractions is even slimmer.

Worst news so far this year. I need my Socom, and I've even been playing Confrontation again here and there just to get my fix. THAT'S how desperate I am.
I actually re-purchased Killzone 2 about 2-3 weeks ago and play it every once in awhile. Still very fun
And play old titles during the "drought". Recently rebought Killzone 2 and playing through that again trying to get a few campaign trophies. Elite to be exact. Wish me luck
Don't remind me. I'm like 18 hostage extracts away from a Plat in that game but can't force myself to ever put it back in and try. Whoever thought to put the 150 hostage extracts in that last gold trophy, thanks a lot.
But I will thank 3D TV's for lowering the price of regular HDTV's. I saw a 42in Samsung at Best Buy last week for like $500. Insane how fast prices are dropping. I'll probably pick up a nice 40-50in 1080p next, then go for 3D late next year. Hopefully by then we'll see some newer models w/ better specs
Amare plays zero defense. That's the one thing a lot of people aren't talking about amidst all this Lebron drama. LBJ, Wade and Bosh might almost be better defensively than offensively.

Yeah, but the same thing was said about 2010 and it worked out pretty well. MAG, Heavy Rain, BFBC2, God of War 3, FFXIII, then Red Dead. Still managed time to get through them. The slow summer so far got me caught up
This is some of the funniest shit I've seen in a long time. Game-related, probably the best since Leroy Jenkins. Fake or not, this is a classic.
I loved Fallout 3, and I'll be the first to agree that both 3 and New Vegas look exactly the same, but the way I see it I could pay $60 for an entirely new area, new quests and new characters or $50 for all of the Fallout 3 DLC which I still want to play badly. So I'll pay the extra $10 for New Vegas.
I wish Bethesda would drop the DLC prices though. I'd pick them all up this second if they were $5.99
