Fallout 3 is well wroth the $20. It's a great game and NOT at all as bad as people make it seem. The DLC is buggy though, that I'll agree with. But the game itslef aside from a few freezes here and there ran fine, and is great.
Got my first freeze last night, oddly enough the second I left Goodsprings, but other than that everything's been running smoothly. Only other thing I've noticed is a slight freeze up every time you enter a new town and the titles come up.
So far smooth sailing
I signed up last week when EU got updated with the Fallout 3 DLC hoping we would get it, on top of the KZ3 Beta, and we didn't. So that blows, but I'm sure I'll get plenty of content out of the $ I spent, and I was one of the first to post on the update page, so hopefully I got into the beta.
I don't get why we wouldn't get the Fallout DLC though...At least I got New Vegas to hold me over, hopefully next month we'll see it
Yeah but SPOILERS:

You can't it Fallout 3 either, am I right? In my 2 saves I played I died at the end each time, and it wasn't until The Pitt that allowed you to restart from the ending? Or one of the DLCs.

I could be wrong though
If anything, the best thing about the Fallout series is the ability to replay it at least once. Yet it scored less than graphics.
Can't wait for this game. Just got my e-mail from Amazon saying it shipped :) 5 o'clock isn't coming fast enough!
Does this have any spoilers to anyone that's read? I really wanna read it, but I don't know if I should to keep me excited.
He doesn't say "No one can handle the PS3 like we do" once.
The quote:
“First and foremost, I think we have a world-class engine team, In particular, they focus heavily on using the PS3′s SPUs more effectively (in my opinion) than anyone else in the business.”
Being raised in a religious environment doesn't really change anything if you ask me.
I spent 1st through 8th grade at a parochial school and probably got the exact same lectures as you did about sex, drugs and violence. Was a 4 sport all conference athlete in high school and all that, and I turned out the same as any other average person.
Virginity lost when I was 15, started drinking soon after (HS drinking/parties, etc. Not alcoholic), and picked up sm...
If the PS Plus update tomorrow is the same as the EU one, I'll finally get my hands on all of the Fallout 3 DLC I've been waiting for (but not willing to pay $50 for) on top of New Vegas
By the time I'm through with both of them, I'm sure this will be no longer exclusive.
Solid plan if you ask me :)
It's funny how one of the main reasons the PS3 was so expensive was Blu Ray, which will eventually be the lead format in market, and ultimately why the 360 wont be able to hang around in the long run.
It's already obvious. The PS3 went from being "too hard" to develop on, to the lead console for most devs and a lot of it is based on Blu Ray. And I HATE when developers say "It can only be done on the PS3" but its true. And Blu Ray helps them out a ...
Damage control
Didn't the 360 redesign their discs/boxart like the PS3 did? I don't have a 360, but I thought that's what I read so it might be different compared to COD4, which came out 3 years ago
I take it you can't "import" this to the US? I've tried my postal code and it keeps saying invalid.
Damn :(
"Michael Pachter estimated that the motion controller sold around 300,000 units in its US debut"
1) Pachter
2) Estimated
3) What does debut mean? Week? Month?
I'm sure US sales are well above 300K
I bought the guides for both Oblivion & Fallout 3 when I started playing, and I was thinking of going solo for New Vegas to make things interesting, but this isn't too convincing....In a good way :)
4 DAYS
Bethesda said on the last podcast that New Vegas map is bigger than Fallout 3. They talked about the difference in designs and everything. Should check it out if you guys are interested in it.
Talk about things like difference in desert design compared to DC and all that. Also said it's completely different than the Capital Wasteland where in New Vegas there are a lot more open areas than closed
I don't own a 360, think Kinect is way more casual than people think, own a Move, and love it. But I actually think Kinect can make a dent in Japan.
I read a bunch of previews and listened to tons of podcasts over TGS and beyond, and the thing I heard most is that Microsoft is throwing a lot of money at the Japanese developers first this time around, telling them to develop from the ground up for it. And it seems like they will be the ones leading the charge in something ...
New Vegas is easily the game I'm looking forward to most. TUESDAY!!!!!!
My first, and most beloved, save was ruined by the "Gukimir Glitch" where after you are given the ability to Knight people so they follow you, he doesn't stop, no matter what. I could weigh him down and leave, but the second I entered a new Cave or House there he is standing right behind me.
Horrible too since I leveled up my sneak first, and the second an enemy was around he'd charge in get knocked out within seconds.
Anyways, I remember ...
Will never exist in a video game review of any kind. Not even Uncharted 2 or MGS4. Got nothing against HHG for trying, but man do I wish he had a better review process..
