You have clearly never played Killzone 2. That game differs from Halo in almost every from of the word. Halo Reach and even Halo 4 have adopted making the gun as big and detailed only after they seen Killzone 2.

Killzone 2 had a weight feel to it. Like you were actually carrying a gun and not something made out of c...
But it too little too late if you ask me. This console generation is about over. So I doubt Sony is losing sleep over this. While it might be intriguing to some, most people (myself included) will continue to support developers. I like how people say Sony cause it by removing Linux. Put yourself in Sony's shoes.
*Lose 3rd party developer support
*Loss of potential revenue due to piracy
*Limited release from Sony's first party studios
*Closing of 1st par...
still say it makes no sense for both Microsoft and Sony to both go with AMD. I think Sony is going to stick with Nvidia despite the rumor that AMD started.
play blu-rays and dvd. Can the Wii U do that?
I know you've heard already how the WiiU preorders are already gone. America is one of the biggest markets in gaming. It's not rocket science, people were craving for next gen and for an entire year there was only one console they could get. Not to mention that also in that first year, RROD wasn't covered under warranty.
@Septic, yes but people wanted next gen, and most weren't going to wait a complete year while other people were already jumping into this gen...
I'm wondering why they aren't releasing this version in the US. This would benefit Sony more if they were to go into the holidays with something like this.
It doesn't matter it was the best looking piece of hardware ever because of the four letter word on it. We get it Shaman, you hate anything Sony. But there must be something drawing you back again and again to SONY articles.
you're probably to young to remember but Sony has done the with every one of their home consoles. Also I'm alot more interested in the price point of the 12gb model that EU is getting. I'm thinking that's coming in at about $199.99. The smaller you can make something the more efficient it performs while consuming less power. You are performing a discredit to Irish people when you spout things like that.
button because you're right about it not coming don to $99.99. But you're wrong when it comes to global economics. The euro is the highest form of currency in the world followed by the Canadian, and then the dollar. The US dollar was almost on par with the euro back in the '90s when America's economy had a surplus. While things aren't ideal I believe we are way better off then when Bush was in office.
I agree with you statement about GT going for accuracy but disagree with it on the graphical part. There is no other *console* racer that looks better at that resolution. You could argue Forza3 but that would be quite a stretch. Project Cars is absolutely gorgeous on the other hand but that is only being developed for PC at the moment.
I wasn't disagreeing with PersonMan. The fact that Crysis2 even ran on consoles released in 2005-2006 IS* an achievement. Something you PC boys seem to forget. More people would rather buy a $400.00 consoles than a $400 graphics card. Also the support for locked in hardware heavily outpaces unlocked hardware. I also doubt that those 2000 players are all onscreen at once. This also proves that the graphical leap wont be as huge as last gen, so if there are only minor differences between th...
I just think more developer are trying to reach the height they Crytek was able to reach on current gen consoles. Crysis2 on consoles had some flat textures here and there but was a still amazing to be done on locked in hardware.
EA's board of directors decided against it. With all the killings happening today, it would literally kill your company if a murder happened with your trademark on the murder weapon. Those against games would have all they need to get new restricting game laws passed. It's ultimately just not worth all the hassel.
They when are we hearing of a first person Uncharted rip off for 360 if ps3 doesn't have a good library. Not a fan of Kinect for 360. Microsoft just promotes a multiplatform game as if it was an exclusive. Sales?......what about the years 2008-2010? Did you somehow magically forget those?
why you have disagrees. How can your own personal experience be incorrect? Well, it's well known that I'm on my third xbox360 but my original ps3(2006). Also this was an internet conducted survey which is not as reliable a face to face survey. Any one can have a dynamic ip address, multiple browsers, and multiple emails.
About not having cross game chat. But after having. Xbox live gold for about a year, I hardly ever use that feature. You can also download video, music, and photos to your ps3 natively.
Most of the top studios out there no how to handle the CELL. DICE, Naughty Dog, Santa Monica Studio and etc all know how to program for the cell. Also PC CPUs are heading in the direction that the CELL is already at. Say what you want about the RSX but at 1080p or 3d the 360 can't compete.
that Sony is going with AMD contrary to popular belief. It just doesn't make sense. That literally means neither system can claim top graphics. I really think we're still going to see an upgraded version of the CELL. Most developers worth mentioning have already have their heads around working with the Cell. I also haven't seen any irrefutable evidence that Sony isn't going with Nvidia.
Yes...yes....and again....yes! I'm actually looking more at Dead Space 3 than Resident Evil 6.
amazing....for a Halo game, and this is coming from a Halo fanatic. But I've played Killzone2 and 3. I love those but for different reasons why I like Halo. I can't stand when people talk about Killzone2 when they have never played it. Halo:Reach and 4 have implemented recoil which was something they didn't have before Killzone2.
