http://www.youtube.com/watc... Here is the a link to something to do with the game. I'm not japanese, so I'm not sure if the gameplay consists of anime characters, or actual humans. It looks odd. If anyone can find anything else, it would be greatly appreciated.
I'm glad to see that SEGA is back to making enjoyable games. That threw me off to see Vyse from Skies of Arcadia in the game. Perhaps there is a sequel in the works? That would be amazing. Valkyria Chronicles is on my list of games to get this season, as well as Sonic Unleashed.
Personally, I prefer single player games. I'm the type of gamer that likes to hold video games on the same platform as film. Many video game stories are excellent, and because games are much longer than films, I become more attached to the characters.
I enjoy a good multiplayer experience as well, but nothing will replace a solid single player game with a good story for me. I hope that there is always a good selection of single player games to play through. I just don't want de...
I guess 7's are terrible ratings now? Sonic Unleashed looks pretty good. It's like saying the Last Remnant is terrible, because it got a 6.5. I'm sure it's still enjoyable.
Poor guy if he's telling the truth. Let's hope it gets the RROD on that cop. lol
Indeed, I am very optimistic for the future of SEGA. Perhaps SEGA will get the hint with the critism of the Werehog, and release a Sonic game without playable secondary characters or gimmicks. People want a pure Sonic game, and they almost got it with Sonic Unleashed. If the SEGA scream you speak of is the old "SEGA" we used to get when turning on a SEGA game, I agree with you 100%. They should bring that back just for the nostalgia.
I agree with you for the most part. Shenmue 3 would be amazing if it played in the way you described, but the budget that SEGA would need to pull that off with great results would be enormous, and the game itself would have to sell very well for SEGA to make a profit. If Sony, or Microsoft were to sign SEGA to an exclusivity deal, I could see Shenmue 3 being made in the way you described because it could possibly be partially funded by either company.
I'm buying Valkyria Chronicles for sure. The demo was very enjoyable. It is a shame about the lack of trophy support, though.
It's a sad day when the current economy has gamers panhandling to support their habit. :) lol
Virtua Fighter 5 wasn't that long ago, and was an excellent game. SEGA is definitely doing a lot better this generation than they did in the PS2, Gamecube, Xbox era. I'm optimistic. I would love to play a new Ecco the Dolphin. If it was done right, it could be an amazing title with the current technology available. Sonic Unleashed seems to be Sonic getting back to his roots, despite the Werehog levels. It's a must buy for me this Christmas. A new Shinobi would be awesome. I enjoyed Shinobi fo...
I've yet to play any of the Yakuza games, and I was thinking about buying the second one, but I have my hands full with the PS3, and 360. I'm looking forward to Yakuza 3, though. As long as SEGA makes quality games, I'll buy them. As for Shenmue 3, we can only dream.
Yeah, Bayonetta looks like it is shaping up nicely. From the little bit of gameplay footage I've seen, it looks to be in the vein of Devil May Cry which definitely isn't a bad thing. Madworld looks interesting. I like the art style. It may prompt me to play my Wii again.
Peach has that cute, little voice, though.
The reviewer sounded bored. Animal Crossing: City Folk looks alright, but I don't think I'll be picking this one up.
I've been following this game for a while. Sure, I haven't been following it religiously like you have, but I didn't just hear about it the day my article was published. I was hoping that the single player aspect would have been an enjoyable experience similar to a F.E.A.R, Resistance, or Condemned. The multiplayer is going to be fun. I'm not denying this, but if the demo is a good representation of the final game, Left 4 Dead is seriously lacking in the visual department. Don't just say the ...
A lot of people are saying that the single player is supposed to be bad, because it's meant to be a cooperative game. I know that this is supposed to be a cooperative game, but you don't see games like Warhawk adding on a terrible single player experience just to say that it's a single player game as well. Left 4 Dead should have a better single player campaign in my opinion.
How did I play this game? Like I would any game, with a controller. I played on normal, hard, and expert settings. I played offline as well as online. I agree that the game will be fun with 3 friends, but the demo wasn't very impressive technically. It's not like I played the demo once and said, "oh, bad graphics, I'll make a long winded article." I played it for a few hours and formed an opinion. As for who I played with, they were just random Xbox Live users. As I have said before...
It's not my fault that I can't control my bladder. In all seriousness though, I like the way you have to rely on your team members.(you would know this if you read the article.) The multiple flaws just made the demo underwhelming in my opinion.
The sad thing is that you are clearly a marijuana addict, yet your post made more sense than most of these sober fanboys.
Similar to the Wii, the next consoles would probably still publish a few hardcore games a year to seem as though they still care about us. (example: Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Fire Emblem, No More Heroes, etc.)
I'm just saying that it's possible that we'll see a lot more games that are more focused on appealing to the casual crowd.
