I still own my PS2. It stands right next to the PS3, while the Wii and 360 share a table on the other side of the television. The PS2 was a fine machine, and will still get a little bit of use from me.(I have a 40gb PS3) I'm going to play Persona 4 when it comes out, and my girlfriend has yet to complete alot of her PS2 games.(She's a nub)

People talk like the PS4 is announced, as well as the new Xbox. This generation of gaming is just getting started in my opinion. The XBOX360 has a small issue with the size of DVDs, so if they have to start releasing some games on 2-3 disks, I don't see the big issue. It's better than not playing the game. Gamespot must look at the PS3 as a superior system to the 360. They seem to rate 360 games a little less harshly. I'll never understand the Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction review. Regardless, I have yet to play LittleBigPlanet, and I may agree with them, but I probably won't.
There better be some damn zombies in Resident Evil: Degeneration or I'm going to loose my mind. I don't mind a bunch of other monsters as well, but I demand roughly 12 zombies. I hate Resident Evil 4, and 5 for taking away our zombies. They're still great games, but they need more zombie.

The PS2 refuses to die. My girlfriend played her PS2 earlier today. It's good enough for alot of people that aren't serious gamers. That's why the Wii sells so well. It's not intimidating, it's not difficult, it's just a simple machine, with simple games, and technology that's been used since the 90s. I swear I could point light guns at a screen back in the 90s. Regardless, both the PS3, and 360 are getting destroyed by the Wii, which is very sad, and the PS2 sold the best out of both of them...
Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Metal Gear Solid 4, etc. There are a few exclusive shooters on the Playstation 3, and there are more to come. Sony is far too humble for their own good. If they advertised their games, and hyped up their games towards casual gamers as much as the Microsoft, they would already be destroying Microsoft in my opinion. Gears of War 2 will absolutely destroy it when it comes to sales, though. I don't really see how that is relevant, though. Sales do not mean that one game is better than another. I'm sure Shadow of the Colossus didn't out sell a bunch of uninspired shooters. I'm looking forward to LittleBigPlanet as well as many other games.
Although, it is kind of sad that most people either got sick of Grand Theft Auto 4 before completion, or didn't play much of it after completion. I thought the online was decent, but nothing special. I have yet to play LittleBigPlanet, but from the looks of it, the replay value is a 10.
I had to check the tab at the top to make sure I was in the gamer zone. Sure, I'm disappointed that Final Fantasy 13 is no longer a PS3 exclusive, but I have no doubt it will at worst be an above average game. The problem with Sony is that their PS3 is $399, and to casual gamers is almost too similar to the 360. Most people I talk to, believe it or not, don't even know what a Blu Ray is. I had to educate them. For core gamers that don't have alot of money, the PS3 is probably a little too pricey, even with what it offers. Games like Uncharted topple 360 games in my opinion, but we need more to get excited about. This holiday season looks promising, but I don't see any PS3 games outselling Gears of ...
They are just being too passive. No price cut, no paying off third party companies for exclusives, no JRPGs. I'm assuming they have some amazing games to reveal at some point that will absolutely destroy the 360s lineup. If not, I don't know what the hell is going on with Sony. Maybe they're thinking more towards the future than the present.
Otherwise, this game is going to be garbage in my opinion. If it's a year or more away from being released, it could be good, but if it's under a year away from release, I'm quite worried.
The Game Gear was a fine machine indeed. I remember long car rides at night time with the lit up screen. There was no need to pull out a flashlight at all.
This game looks nice. I didn't play the previous Star Ocean on the PS2, simply because I never got around to it, and I have alot of current generation games to play on the PS3, and 360. I'm looking forward to this game.
I love SEGA, too, but they should stay out of the console race. They are decent as a third party developer. I can't wait for Sonic: Unleashed. It's on my must buy list before christmas.
