Out of curiosity, is this game good, or just "good for a Castlevania game?"
Not flaming at all. I'm just asking because many reviewers keep saying "it's the first great 3D Castlevania".
True. Stranger's Wrath was/is amazing, and I'll be buying the remake that's coming out.
I know Red Dead Redemption gets mentioned so often, but it really is an incredible game.
Remember how 360 gamers clamored (and still clamor) for MGS4, a game from 2008?
A good game is a good game, and ME2 is among the best, now playable on PS3.
One of my biggest problems with Microsoft's storage options is that you can't take your own video files and play them on the 360. Microsoft always claims to give gamers options, but they really only give gamers THEIR options.
I always had a new game all year to play between my PC, PS3, DS, and PSP.
It would really suck if true, but I doubt it.
MS also sees Kinect "as a games console".
So....
Yeah...
It's ironic that Mandatory Install would write this blog...
The standard for brilliant has been lowered, it seems.
Both games are slightly above average. Nothing more, and nothing less.
The guns were pretty much all from Halo and Fallout. Lame...
How can people NOT like LBP? The first game had amazing stuff like this, too. i guess you need blood and guts and purple Fischer-Price laser guns to be a AAA game, right???
8/10 is fantastic! I'm glad to see this game (so far) has gottten good scores. I've played Gothic 2 and 3 and both were cool.
That's a question I've been asking myself. I want a 3DS, but the announced lineup is thin.
Disgaea 3 is one of the most content-filled games of this generation, and I can't wait for #4.
My wife and I own this game, and here are three things any potential buyer of Rapstar should know:
- the songs are radio edits, not the original cuts
- only 45 songs, which is pathetic compared to games like Rock Band 2 and DJ Hero 2 which have 80+ songs with voice support AND instrument support
- there are a lot of artists barely represented or missing. It's mostly stuff from the Def Jam label, but this is NOT the comprehensive rap/hipho...
In what bizarre alternate dimension do gamers get excited about a $150 peripheral that offers less accuracy, slower response time, more casual games, and fewer control inputs?
360...it only does nonsense.
What some "reviewers" say to get attention...
I do agree with the score, however.
I love the PSP and I think it is an awesome system, and 60 million other gamers think so too.
"Sell out" and "sell a lot" are two completely different things. Gamers seem to forget that, which companies like Microsoft like to take advantage of in order to brag "WE SOLD OUT! WE SOLD OUT! Do you hear that, our shareholder-gamer-customers?&q uot;
Sales sales sales sales sales!
But for all we know, Medal of Honor will be the better game. And isn't that what matters?
