S-E is technically a lost cause as long as Wada is in charge, according to gamers.
CoD has had a lot of cheaters/hackers/glitchers since Modern Warfare, if not before. And when the 360 got hacked, the number of hackers skyrocketed.
Add this article + the several articles reporting Move is sold out = "shipped" numbers and sold numbers are almost the same. Ain't math fun?
Except that there are more than just "a few bugs".
Gamers like you are to blame for this. You roll over and say "welllll it's Fallout so me like!" instead of demanding quality.
I can think of at least 15 better turn-based RPGs. That's not to say Lost Odyssey is bad, but the best? No way.
By "addressing" do they mean "will continue to ignore the bugs because reviewers will give us a free pass and suckers will still buy our game", because that's exactly what they do in all of their other games. Fallout 3 GotY edition was even buggier than Fallout 3.
Why do people eat McDonald's hamburgers?
"The Resistance series is- to say the least- unremarkable."
Stopped right there, Should have stopped once I saw "gamingbolt.com" to be honest.
Ah, I get it. Give the glitch-as-hell game a great review, and then come use our guide!
Oh IGN. Oh gaming journalism...
You can bet Microsoft will include these "Free" memberships when releasing numbers of LIVE members.
And before you rageclick disagree, they've done it several times in the past. That's a fact. ;)
I always try to finish games, but that means I tend to ignore multiplayer.
I imagine "the masses" are the opposite: they play the single-player, they ragequit because of their short attention spans, and then just jump into online multiplayer until the next big online multiplayer game comes out. It also explains why many "gamers" are perfectly fine with a pathetic 4-hour campaign: it's because they actually have a chance of beating it!
Dear Microsoft,
Make basic online multiplayer, in-game voice chat, facebook, and Netflix a part of your Silver/Free package and we'll talk again. You can continue charging for cross-game chat and such, and that's fine by me, but stop charging up the butt for features that are free elsewhere. We don't have to pay for the "privilege" of belonging to Xbox Live when it is full of hackers. Thanks.

DVDs are dying, yes, but until you can stream the sort of stuff they've been packign on to a Blu Ray (God of War 3, Uncharted 2, inFamous) then I'll take my physical copies, please.
@ killcrow
hahahhah! "tapping new markets"? You realize that Oprah has handed out Nintendo Wiis on multiple occasions, right? And just like the Wii, these soccer moms will plug it in, play it for a month, and then throw it in the closet.
Sales! Sales! Sales!
I wanna see some games for the 360 in general, because Gears 3 (not interested anyway) and Forza (also not interested) are the only things coming out.
I'm with you there, but I hate how reviewers gloss over this stuff. I don't care about their personal opinions and how they loved/hated the art style when they neglect to mention basic issues with the game.
Imagine if other product reviews were done this way: "I love the nice leather interior of the car and the steering wheel looks cute" [but forgot to mention that the brakes cut out when going at speeds over 25 MPH]
I'll just buy this game next year when it comes out in a GotY edition.
Wow, well perhaps EA learned their lesson with Skate 3 and their other "online pass" games.
Translation:
"You thought we would have taken the time to deliver on Fable 1's promises by the time we got to Fable III, but no. Since it's not a trilogy, we'll be releasing Fable 1's promised content by the time we get to Fable 17 or 18."
"Exaggerated" an Kinect go hand-in-hand.
In some cases, the fanboy hate against it is exaggerated.
In most cases, Kinect's capabilities and lineup of core games has also been exaggerated.
