Achievements are great, but I (personally, just my opinion) like Trophies because you can't simply rent a bunch of games to artificially boost your score. You have to get the harder trophies (such as Silver, Gold, and Platinum) to increase your score, and it records how many of each type you've gotten. Obviously a gamer with 50 gold trophies has more skill than a gamer with 1 gold trophy and 1,000 bronze trophies.
The boss fights were okay but what I really loved where the creepy environments that were quiet and then all of a sudden you were getting swarmed by Chimera.
If only Nintendo was as cool as this in the USA. And I suppose it is good they didn't have a 3G network to keep costs down. I wonder if Sony is planning on putting 3G in the next PSP.
Gotta love it. Of all the ads of this generation, Kevin Butler has the best. He really walks that fine line between blatant fanboyism and humor. Definitely a good spokesperson for gamers!
Geometry Wars 2 should be on that list! That game had so many great game modes, and co-op, too!
If TOO PAWNED's comment doesn't get marked as trolling, I'll know for certain that the mods are asleep at the wheel (unless the 360 gets mocked, in which case they snap to attention).
Resistance 2 has one-of-a-kind co-op. Dynamic levels and enemies that scale with the number of players? Sign me up.
Although, I really wish the storyline was playable co-op. Hopefully they bring that back in Resistance 3.
Move was sold out all across the States when it launched, so....

Microsoft is attempting to pull a Wii by having Kinect be sold out just so they can gain publicity and scream at investors: KINECT SOLD OUT OMGZ!!!
My wife and I bought this game and I have three things to say:
1. Not as many songs as I expected
2. There are occasional glitches that freeze the game and require you to restart the system
3. The lyrics are censored a lot, for those who prefer the original cuts of the songs.
This game looks great. I've been playing through the first inFamous (evil side) and I love it.
L4D is a great co-op series. My buddy Nate and I played through the Alien Breed demo and we were lamenting the fact that there aren't very many good co-op games anymore.
Yeah, Valkyria Chronicles belongs on this list, as well as Folklore, Resistance 1 and 2, and Disgaea 3 (IMO)

The devs and writers of Enslaved have really been blowing a lot of smoke lately. If their game is good, it'll speak for itself. What do they have to be so worried about?

They're two different games. Vanquish's feel is completely different than Gears.
Although for Gears to impress, I wish they'd finally fix some of the issues that have been plaguing the series from the start.

I'd like to wait for the final version. EPIC has an undeniable history of releasing bullshots and touched-up trailers.
Handheld platforms have SO many good games at such a low price. Two of my favorite rhythm games - Patapon on the PSP - are under $20.
