Yes, this is what happens when kids pose as video game journalists: the classics get forgotten. It's also why - when there was news about System Shock 3 - that many of these kids said "OMG this is just a Bioshock clone. Dumb!"

What EA should learn from Activision: nothing. EA used to be like Activision, but thankfully they've changed (somewhat).
In the past 5 years EA has put out:
- Dead Space
- Mirror's Edge
- Battlefield
- Mass Effect 2
In the past 5 years Activision has put out:
- Call of Duty
- More Call of Duty
- A lot of Call of Duty DLC
- A s**tload of Guitar Hero nonsense.
Yup. When I did speed runs of MGS4, I simply skipped the cutscenes (since they count against your final time).
The ladies from System Shock 2 are pretty dang creepy, hunting you while saying "little babies need fresh meat".
Y'know, I wonder if the PSP2 will actually be LESS expensive than the 3DS at launch. That would be quite the plot twist. Nintendo has never had a major handheld launch at a LOWER price than their own handheld, iirc.
The firmware update can easily be included on the disc.

Microsoft keeps talking about demand and how it is "sold out" everywhere, and yet we have NOT had a single concrete number. If you have 10 copies of Kinect worldwide, it's going to sell out pretty quickly, you know?
Instead of "meeting demand" and saying it's "sold out", just be straight with us M$ and tell us how many Kinects you have on the market.
After playing the demo, I definitely want this game.
I know this is going to be an unpopular comment, but hear me out.
Shenmue 3 will need to change the core gameplay or fall behind. Reviewers have already showered hate on "all those dang QTEs" in God of War 3 and Heavy Rain. In addition, Shenmue 2 was not all that good compared to the first one. They'd also need to have better voice acting. They'd need a bigger and better world.
Stomp out the hackers and pirates. It will just lead to hacked-up online multiplayer on the PS3, among other things.
