They surveyed 7,500 consumers to decipher their annual consumer experience ratings for over 150 different companies. Nintendo wasn't the best rated company out of all they rated this year, but they were the best rated consumer electronics company. I think Verizon was rated higher.

where the fanbase started really doesn't matter at all. if it did, there are plenty of franchises Sony owes the success of the PS1 and PS2 to Sega and Nintendo if we're acting like its a bad thing that they jump ship sometimes.
sell as good on Vita? really? hasn't MH3 in japan on 3DS sold like 50% of vita's lifetime worldwide hardware sales? I'd wager if MH4 was on both it would be more like 2mil on 3DS and 500k on PSV in Japan
also, while i don't like most of their decisions they have a business to run. they don't owe us anything. it isn't their responsibility to sell Vitas. they don't do charity for MS, Sony, or Ninty.
maybe Sony shouldn't market their handheld poorly and come out with real first party system sellerd in order to increase sales so companies like Capcom can take less of a risk developing for Vita?
Developers abandoning a brand or platform is because of that platform aging too much or no longer being a good investment.
benefit them how? it would be a terrible business decision. the Vita isn't getting better software/hardware sales anytime soon and it isn't capcom's responsibility to help it. they make games on platforms with a good chance of good sales.

Why even joke about that? I get that you may not like them, but they are the second most popular magazine in the US. Like 4 million + subscribers.
