What if they barely miss that target? Like by a small margin?
Good luck wit what?

I wouldn't be against a 3DS successor at Holiday 2014. Even if it was basically on par with Vita in terms of hardware.
I'd say a PC/Wii U version is much more likely. These new consoles won't come out until November anyway (more than likely) so there would no point in delaying it to September just to cater to new consoles with low install bases that launch two months later
Nintendo does own Monolith Software.
Really is no other way to say it. As much as I want the Vita to succeed there isn't a lot of ways to paint this picture brighter.
No developer support and incredibly bad software/hardware sales, why would a third party jump on board without a spur in sales and a price drop?
I hope that they do, but I can't blame them for not doing so.
So they should just lose money on the DLC? The player base will grow but it doesn't look like it will grow all that much. I mean, Xmas only added like 2,000 players
Looks pretty good
Its important to note this relates only to Europe. Its coming out in usa in two weeks
If only everyone could. I plan to as well, though I'll probably only get one this year, the other later.
The first table or so is free, then you pay for additional tables after that.
Tank Tank Tank is freemium in Japan as well
Ghost Recon Online will also be freemium on Wii U as well.
If the Wii U needs to be "saved" with 2 million units worldwide in 2 months and grossing more revenue than the Wii did at launch while barely falling short of matching that system's launch sales than the Vita must need an excorcism, three miracles and to acquire Peyton Manning in a trade.
Agree 100% with everything you said. $199 seems like the sweet spot judging on black friday sales of the Vita too
I don't get it, do you actually have a problem with paying hard-working people who are updating the 300+ (hopefully) log of VC games, when they really don't even have to, $1 for some new features? So those people don't deserve any money, any reward? It isn't as simple as slapping a rom on a store. Sure, these people are making new games or doing anything incredibly unique, just updating old stuff but that still takes time, money, and energy
It costs money to work in the Wii U features, therefore it costs money to get them.
Let's just tell Nintendo to spend millions of dollars inserting these features into 300+ games for free right? I'm not a fan of this charge but $1 or so is not bad.
Why would someone disagree with you when you say you hope it ships earlier than June?
That's silly.
Shouldn't it read "Classic Game" now available since its only Balloon Fight?
Well they have only said Spring or Q2 2013 so it could hit April or May still
So by the author's logic that means the PS2 was competiting with the Nintendo 64, PS1 before the Cube/Xbox came out?
Or the Dreamcast was competiting with PS1, N64?
