Clearly it was Wii U systems.
Go to Best Buy, Amazon, New Egg, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, etc
Buy a 500GB to 1TB USB Hard Drive for $50 to $80, varying prices.
Plug it into your Wii U, format it and you're good.
Problem solved and it is likely cheaper than shipping the Wii U with an actual hard drive.
Good lord that's a terrible article.
Good lord that was poorly written. Total fanboy rant. I don't understand, does the writer of that article want to never have any good relations with third parties or the big three? Even MS/Sony would see that post and cross his/her name off on a list due to the immaturity, not to mention how poorly it is written overall.
Yes because making a big budget game for a console that can barely push 11k units a week in Japan during the friggin' holidays and is doing terrible elsewhere is a good idea.
It's not like there is two HD consoles with a combined user base of 140 million they could make more money off of,... wait a second!
But seriously folks it's not for Vita. iPhone, 3DS, PC would even make more sense. Actually even PSP would make a lot of sense. But that foota...
Or only one of them? Basically saying it could be for any platform since Square Enix has a strong presence on each of them.
The type of CPU the Wii U uses is on par, if not better than the Xenon and probably better than the Cell. You shouldn't rate things by their clock speeds. Even the Wii U's GPU is clocked higher and because it's newer tech, likely much better.
Also you're forgetting that the Wii U has triple the eDRAM of 360/PS3 at 32MB.
I'm really expecting a good Quad or Six-Core CPU in the PS4 around 1.5Ghz-2Ghz. It would be silly to have them anywhere n...
If the PS4 had the same internals of the Wii U people would praise it to no end. I'm sure many of the features in that article will be in the PS4, but it doesn't have to be a beast to achieve most of that.
I would be fine with, and expect QuadCore 1.8Ghz to 2.2Ghz, 2GB-4GB RAM.
Because of updates?
Otherwise congrats on getting full refund. Most places here don't do that with new, opened hardware.
Love the DC but didn't get one until recently. I was a teen when it came out and went under but for whatever reason I wasn't aware of it and didn't get to exeperience it then.
I regret that as there is so much to love in this console. I can't wait until we see third parties start making new DC systems in a few years
That's cool and all but I don't want to spend $250 on a Vita +$20 memory card +$270 PS3 just to do all that.
That's $540 without tax, likely nearing $580 or $590 with tax here in the US.
That's just me. As cool as all the Vita/PS3 stuff is, and I recently played Portal 2 using Move and it was amazing, I can't and don't want to spend that type of money.
It is very good. But hey this is only coming from a person who has put 30+ hours into the Wii U version since launch, WHAT DO I KNOW?
Isn't this the same story as the one posted a few days ago?
http://n4g.com/news/1129447...
It even sources Hector Martin but this article doesn't even LINK to his twitter account, just takes what he says without sourcing it.
Makes sense. The CPU doesn't need to have an insanely high clock like 3.2Ghz guys. It will be a newer, better CPU like the one in the Wii U that can do pretty much everything the Xenon/Cell can do and possibly more.
A solid Quad-Core CPU around 1.6-1.8Ghz will be more than awesome. Stop acting like Raw clock speeds are everything. Maybe it would go up to 2.2ghz but that's the max I'd think
This isn't that big of a deal dude. Do you really need 10 attempts at a demo to make a decision? If so then you may be more indecisive than Hamlet.
I think they mean the Wii U could benefit, not Nintendo. Obviously Nintendo already does benefit from Poke-RPGs
It's funny that this isn't as popular on N4G because it speaks positively on the Wii U yet that other story throws the system under the bus and is far more popular.
If you consider selling 115k less than DS good than yes
The PS3 number is okay. But while the 160k for Vita is a huge step up from the -50k per month it's been selling it isn't that amazing considering it too $50 to $70 discounts with multiple games thrown in (Even more if you count Plus) just to muster up 160k which is 100k units short of 3DS/DS.
